This cage is amazing and exactly what we needed. Tall and sturdy enough for our 150+ pound Akita. We took the trays out once he quit having accidents as a puppy. I will say though I love the design of the trays being on the outside. He enjoys the air that comes through it and chooses to go in his cage on his own for comfort. The cage is easy to clean as you can roll it outside and spray it off with a hose. I highly recommend it if your dog has anxiety in the cage as well because they can’t get out and or hurt themselves in the process. ... show more

This is *not* the typical imported junk that we all know and hate: it is well engineered, well-manufactured, with good weld & paint quality, good hardware, and it arrived intact. Even the casters are decent - not the throw-away quality that is so common. All the parts were present, and fit / work as intended. The tilting "roof" door folds back easily and stays open. Some of the door latches are a little stiff, but certainly not a problem. You have to read between the lines on the instructions, but again, not a problem. I have never been more happy with a purchase. We have a pit bull mixed German shepherd dog that has chewed up my sectional three times and my mattress three times and many other things. I tried to put him in a room and he chewed through the door and got out. I tried a muzzle he chewed through that . We tried one of those wired cages he chewed a hole in it and then decided to just take the door off. He has been quite a handful. This cage Was delivered quickly, very easy set up. It looks like a little house just made out of steel bars. Nice part is you can tighten the locks once u latch it. I also like it has 2 latches. It's nice that you can open from top also. It has small door at bottom with latch if you need throw something in quick like water or food. Also tall enough for them to stand and walk around freely. My dog loves it so much he even sleeps in it when we are home and he's not pinned up and at night when we go to bed . My only complaint is the inside bottom I don't like the holes. Easy fix we bought plywood had it cut to fit I also found dog bed on Amazon this will make third dog bed that he also chewed up but it did fit perfect for the one day he had it. I bought a Water bowl to attach to the cage that I love off Amazon. Even my cats love the cage they fight over who is going to get to sleep in it them or the dog. I also like I don't have to worry about my dog being injured from trying to get out of wire cage. Before buying this cage I use to come home and be scared to death and dread opening my bedroom door because something was always destroyed but thanks to this cage I can now come home with peace of mind Which isn't that what everyone wants after hard long day at work. Less work to come home to. So if you are debating about buying this cage. Just go ahead and buy it you won't regret it I promise even though it's pricey very much worth the money. I never write reviews but felt like this product deserves it. I buy lot of stuff off Amazon. I know in Other reviews customers stated Thier's came damaged mine was delivered with no issues or damage. I have a one year old doberman male. This cage gives him room to stand up straight and lay with his legs put straight if he wants. It was easy to assemble with a little help holding the walls up while I got them bolted together. The doors and locks are strong. My doberman could unlock his previous crages bought from local chain pet stores. But not this one. I wish there was an option to buy a cover. My dog likes the coziness of having a den like cage so I will have to sew a custom cover. Excellent purchase. ... show more

Got this today, and has a few dents…. Which isnt a huge deal but weakens the kennel.. needs better packaging for shipping, then the wheel won’t stay locked. It pops right back up..

This thing is massive, and certainly seems pretty heavy duty! We got it for our 65 lb 6 months old Great Pyrenees who destroyed his other wire crate :( so far, he seems to be doing a little better with this one, no damage, and I think it helps that he has some more headroom since he is a tall boy. This thing really is huge though! My only minor issues at this point are that one of the bolts missed getting welded on for the lock on the skylight (see photo) -- seems like it should be ok since he isn't going for the top to escape. The other is that the locks seem a little flimsy, though I will give them the benefit of the doubt untill proven otherwise. Last thing is I do worry about his comfort. Ours came with 2 different pans instead of the 1 I expected, so I couldn't put it inside to give him a flat surface instead of being directly on the bars (not as worried about accidents as him actually relaxing at some point while being in there...), so with the bars on the bottom being elevated off of the tray, I would say you should definitely consider a bed to add some padding and comfort if you can. I just can't imagine leaving him to lay on the bars with nothing else, even though they are thicker. Otherwise, it arrived quickly, was simple enough to assemble, and the wheels do make it easy to move around, while also locking pretty securely in place too. So far I'm happy with the purchase and hope it makes things a little easier with our large, growing puppy! ... show more
