I have done a lot of smoking of meats over the years and have been looking for an easier way to do cold smoking for jerky ( not that it's a hard thing to do). This unit does the job better than expected. It's really easy to use. Add pellets or chips, start the pump, and light the wood. Put the hose in whatever you are using for a smoker box and you off and running. What I like most about this is that I could actually just use a cardboard box as a smoker if only doing a cold smoke.. You can also use this with your BBQ to add smoke to food while grilling. Seriously, only the limits of your imagination will hold you back on your smoking experience
