The gear train is of revolutionary 3-stage planetary. Gear ratio is of 430:1, clutch: sliding ring gear, brake: automatic out-of-drum. Drum size: Diameter 3.45 inch, cable: 98.5 feet 3/8 inch diameter, cable type: braided steel wire rope, fairlead: 4-way roller. Recommended battery: 650CCA minimum for winching, battery leads: 25 square millimeter, 72 inch (1.83m). Finish: textured black. Weight: 150 pounds (45 kilograms); mounting bolt pattern: 10.0 inch x 4.50 inch, overall dimensions: 22.3"L x 7.5" W x 10.7"H.

I had another winch that would not load this Lincoln in the past after returning it I ordered this smittybuilt winch 15,500# capacity and it pulled it on the trailer without much effort with 4 flats and locked up front drums!! Very well built product !!

Seems like a decent product when working. It didn't work upon mounting. Contacted smitty and we're trouble shooting. I feel confident they're going to make it right. I went with the 15.5 but ordered a synthetic rope to save weight. Should be fine because the brake is out of drum. Will update with resolution. ... show more

    • Great winch for the price
Great winch for the price. Has yet to pull any real duty, but quality for the price is very good. Only complaint to keep it from a 5-star rating is that the battery leads are too short for most any application in a full size truck.
