The R200 2-Gallon Turf and Agricultural Series Compression Sprayer is perfect for landscapers, lawn care services, or golf course maintenance professionals. Whether you are killing weeds, applying insecticides, or spraying fertilizers, the R200 sprayer will withstand the toughest chemicals while maintaining the strength and performance a pro needs. Sprayer features a lockable shut-off to reduce hand fatigue, a nickel-plated brass poppet for strength and precision, and an easy-to-clean, in-line filtration system. Viton seals offer the best chemical resistance to lawn and garden chemicals and are easily changed without using tools. The pressure release valve not only prevents over compression, but also helps prevent chemicals dispersing from tank onto the user prior to opening. Multiple nozzles included for ultimate versatility: high foaming nozzle (enables visible confirmation of covered area), wide flat fan nozzle (red, 0.25 GPM, angled at 70 Degree), narrow flat fan nozzle (yellow, 0.15 GPM, angled at 30 Degree), and adjustable brass nozzle (enables stream to cone patterns). Also accepts Tee Jet nozzles. Includes nylon shoulder strap.

Thumbs up, and I wish I could give it five stars. First off, it seals! So, you can at least pump it up, spray, and get your work done. The similar Dewalt 2 gallon sprayer, which I have been struggling with for years and looks like the Chinese knock-off of the Smith sprayer, does not provide a consistent seal no matter what replacement seals you try. Smith beats Dewalt handily and gets four stars for sealing. But it does fall short in other areas. Mine was full of plastic shavings, so check and clear them out, or you will clog your hose and nozzle. Next the pump handle adds pressure only in the last 2-3 inches of travel. Maybe it needs a break-in period to prime better. Next, the handle lock-in is not very definitive, so that you may find it let loose unexpectedly and the cannister fall toward the ground. Finally, the plastic spray nozzle insert does not give a perfectly uniform pattern with one side delivering more spray than the other. Bottom line: a fully functional sprayer compared to Dewalt and one that I will repurchase if it eventually fails. ... show more

Replacing an old worn-out sprayer from a company that quit making sprayers, I selected this one because Smith has an excellent name and reputation in the industry, the SALE price was very good (under $40 on sale), and the capacity was right. It arrived on time, well packaged. Looks to be sturdy and the multiple nozzles are a vast improvement over the cheap, standard "twist nozzles" that never seem to provide the exact type of spray needed. Replaceable Viton seals are a plus, but I don't think they will need changing very often. Only used a few times so far, but I think it will provide years of service. I purchased this sprayer about a year ago, and just purchased a second one. I have multiple sprayers so I don't cross contaminate...i.e one for grass / all vegetation killer, one for weed killer in the grass, and one for my garden (bugs & etc). Anyway, after purchasing a year ago, this has been my # 1 sprayer and have it allocated to use for all vegetation killer....Can't afford "leakage" or to have anything drip out of the tip, because whatever the fluid touches, it kills. This sprayer doesn't leak anywhere and when you stop spraying, it stops immediately. In addition, it has many adjustments for various mists and etc. I also like that you can snap the wand on the side and it has a catch spot on the bottom. The pressure release valve is very high quality. The spray seals nicely and doesn't take much to pump it up. Consequently, I used much "cheaper" made sprayers for my other two applications....Weeds in the grass and bugs in my garden....Figured it wouldn't matter as much if they leaked and etc...or had pressure please. However, I came to the conclusion that this sprayer is SO MUCH better and not that much more expensive, I would gradually replace my other two sprayers with this model....One at a time. I plan on buying a third one next month, or having one for each application. Sure, I could really clean it out and etc, but so much easier to keep one dedicated for each task. Unless you want to pay $300+ for an elite model, this sprayer is the best price to quality ratio on the market. Highly recommend! ... show more

I have owned 3 of these Pump sprayers over the years and they WERE GREAT! This one has multiple defects. The pressure relief valve nipple is defective, which I repaired myself. Then to find out the shut off handle assembly is defective. Thus not allowing it to hold pressure and continually leaks. PER THE INSTRUCTION TO CONTACT THE MANUFACTURER, NOT TO RETURN IT! The 1st customer service representative was very rude and said send us photos and hung up. The 2nd customer service representative was very nice and assured me they would send me replacement parts, weeks ago. Called customer service again did reach the same representative who actually remembered our conversation and is going to look into why I have not received my parts. IT'S NOW BEEN OVER 3 WEEKS AND MY 30 DAY RETURN OPTION WILL RUN OUT BEFORE THEY RESOLVE THIS! LOOKS LIKE I WASTED MY MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT! I CAN NO LONGER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY DUE TO POOR QUANTITY CONTROL AND LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! NOW I KNOW WHY THEY DON'T WANT YOU TO RETURN THE PRODUCT TO THE PLACE OF PURCHASE! ... show more
