Smith Performance Sprayers and Foggers are built to work as hard as you do. They are durable, professional products built to withstand the most demanding work conditions. The FT982 Electric Thermal Fogger is designed for pest control professionals and can be used in and around restaurants, hotels, office properties, and residential structures. It will eliminate insects for up to 6 hours. The specially designed heating element atomizes chemical into fine particles that float under surfaces and into nooks and crannies. It can be removed for electric spraying capabilities as well. For thermal fogging only use products formulated specifically for thermal fogging: oil or water- based solutions containing propylene glycol oils.

The media could not be loaded. I have used the FT982 thermal fogger for going on 3 years now. this fogger is a work horse. i use it to fog insecticides in my storage areas and cars. it can do odor fogging solutions however i have yet to need it. in the video you can see me fogging my truck. i do a lot of curb alerts and free pickups. so i get a lot of random items i know nothing about. in order to prevent any type of infestation of spiders, mites, roaches, etc i always fog items that i get. on top of that i also fog my storage areas at least once a year, sometimes twice. this fogger puts out plenty of fog and does it with no butane, propane or fuel. which makes it very very safe to use. i had a butane fogger prior to this and it was a flame thrower. i then decided to go with the FT982. it is simple to use, reliable, and puts out a ton of fog for its size. I normally use Shockwave insecticide for my go to solution. its a pythern mix, which gives me the same coverage and killing power of bifen xts. this fogger handles it with no issue, it runs like a top all the time and i never have to worry about it. ive recommend this fogger to a few people that do the bug bombs (which are a major ripoff) and i will constantly refer it to anyone looking for this type of product. prior to using a fogger i use to use the raid bug bombs, one time i did a small area and the canisters cost me $120. for the same price i can get a gallon of shockwave and it lasts me years even with fogging 6-10 times a year. this fogger has saved me close to $5,000 over the past 3 years for not having to buy the raid bug bombs. if this unit ever gave out on me i would immediately buy another; im actually considering buying one or two more to keep on hand. A hand pump sprayer is more effective. Thermal foggers are supposed to be stronger and more effective than ULV, it barely heats even when waiting longer than the recommended pre heat time and leaks more than it sprays.

After having this for 5 months I have to say that it is low quality. The center screw that holds the lid on is always coming loose and the seal on the lid is terrible, it has leaked from day one. If it had a better container and was attached better to the machine it would make a big difference in the machine. ... show more

It warms up fast, creates a tremendous fog, no drips, stops the instant I release the trigger. It sounds like a cheap electric airless paint sprayer; a very loud buzz. I want to fog early in the morning or late at night when the wind is minimal, but it would wake the neighbors. I prefer not to use chemicals, but there was a new species of mosquito this year that has bee very hard to control otherwise. ... show more

This fogger is Great ; I could not believe how good it works. Well worth the price . I have used canister fuel models which fail to heat and clog. I thought the cord would be problem. but it heats the coil so fogging is is a breeze . I love it!
