  • Great rack for the price
Style: Power Cage
This rack is great for the price. I am able to do enough exercises with this and dumbbells where I was able to end my gym membership. Pros: Smith bar allows me to safely workout without a spotter. The pullup bar has a lot of different options. The cable mechanisms work surprisingly well. The attachable racks for squatting or lifting a traditional barbell are easy to attach and remove. The whole tower is very sturdy. Cons: The instructions aren't the best and if you mess up, you may have to undo a lot of parts. There's no extra hardware, so be careful not to lose a bolt or nut. The cables and posts require a thin layer of silicone grease to slide properly (wasn't in the instuctions). The boxes are surprisingly heavy. This should be common sense, but the combined 3 boxes are about 300 lbs. Tips: There are a ton of parts. Make sure not to lose them. It will also take a lot more time than you'd expect to assemble. Don't be in a rush or you'll have to go back some steps. Assemble it in the room you plan to use it in. It is big and won't fit through doors. Putting the Smith bar in from the side requires a lot.of clearance. Pivot the rack towards a doorway if the room is small until you get past this part. You will need.clearance.on the back to rack plates. You should store plates here to add stability. The pullup bar has texture that caused handpain even though I have a lot of calluses. You may need workout gloves. In order to do seated rows and such, you'll need a lot of space in front of the cage. The included single hand straps suck. Buy better ones. ... show more

  • Quality product at this price range!
Style: Power Cage
Great unit overall for the money. Love that it does standard 1” plates and 2” weight plates very versatile. Smith Machine is very smooth lots of options. Assembly was not bad. But the overall structural quality was nice at this price range.

  • Flawless Execution
Style: Power Cage with Bench Plates
The media could not be loaded. I read a lot of comments prior to purchase, some bad and some good. The bad reviews all mentioned things like “the instructions suck, there are no videos, no extra parts.” I am a retired Navy Jet Mechanic and the instructions were perfect for someone like myself. The hardware was perfectly laid out, and packaged very well. If you follow the instructions (perfectly detailed) you have no need for leftover hardware. To sum up this product: It is very well designed and fabricated from quality steel. The hardware was very well organized, and very detailed. All hardware was identified and the correct amount was provided. The vendor even provided various Allen wrenches, and open-end metric wrenches. This has been a pleasure to assemble ... show more

  • Not professional quality buy a good budget buy
Style: Power Cage
I’ve had this machine for about 2 weeks now. For the money it’s good value but understand it’s not what you will find at a professional Gym. The stack on which the weights sit for the pull bare square. And the movement is not as fluid when you use the pulleys. So the weight is less than what I would use in a gym due to the resistance. They are plastic as well, and I can’t help but imagine metal would have been a better design. I use WD40 frequently to keep lubrication between the plastic and the metal. Also the smith bar portion isn’t set to 1 support bar. Meaning, you could lock in the left side but not have locked in the right. Just have to be very intentional but the movement provides as expected and is much smoother due to the metal support bars instead of plastic Again this is a good product; not great. But for the price I’m happy. ... show more

  • Great machine
Style: Power Cage
Listen, this is a great machine for the price. Building is not too bad, but it does take about 2 hours. The smith bar is perfect (smooth). The two pulley bars are the key. So many more exercises than with just one pulley. Only issue is that the design of the plastic caps on the pole that holds the weight for these pulleys. You need to apply WD 40 to the vertical bars and then it is fantastic. The part bags are a joke without labeling, but pretty easy to figure out. Note: be especially careful on the lengths of screws (they look the same) I’ve been using this machine for 3 weeks. If I had a chance to buy again. I would buy the same one. This is a great machine. ... show more

  • Great home gym on a budget
Style: Power Cage
Don’t let the price fool you, for roughly $700 bucks this smith machine cage is great. The smith machine track and bar are smooth and balanced well with safety hooks that can be adjusted to several heights on the rack. The cables are great and allow for a plethora of several different exercises. The initial attachments the unit comes with are a good start and would work great for a starter or veteran with lifting. Rope attachment, lat pull down bar, straight bar all add to a good workout. Cons: the eccentric movements lag. The weight receivers on the tracks have to be evenly balanced weight wise to run on the track properly. (May be solved by lubricating the track- will test and update this). Overall this machine for the price allows anyone to get a great workout at home. Well worth the price and very happy with my purchase. Chest presses, shoulders, squats, rows ect this machine for the most part can do it all. You can add dip bars and landline attachment if you wish to. ... show more

  • There's a reason it's cheap
Style: Power Cage
It's cheap for a reason. Surprisingly the assembly went okay (as long as you pay really close attention), but once it was all set I was ready for my first workout only to realize the weight tracks attached to the pulleys are so tightly wrapped around the pole that they don't slide unless you really work at it. And no, there's no weight on it yet. The plastic liners are just a few millimeters too wide, so the pulley portion is completely useless. I've contacted customer service but considering it's an Outlook email address, something tells me I won't be hearing back, nor will I be getting any kind of refund unless I disassemble the entire thing and repackage it. Speaking of which, the product I received had clearly been returned once before. Everything was taped together haphazardly and poorly packaged. That should've been my first red flag. ... show more
