This rack is great for the price. I am able to do enough exercises with this and dumbbells where I was able to end my gym membership. Pros: Smith bar allows me to safely workout without a spotter. The pullup bar has a lot of different options. The cable mechanisms work surprisingly well. The attachable racks for squatting or lifting a traditional barbell are easy to attach and remove. The whole tower is very sturdy. Cons: The instructions aren't the best and if you mess up, you may have to undo a lot of parts. There's no extra hardware, so be careful not to lose a bolt or nut. The cables and posts require a thin layer of silicone grease to slide properly (wasn't in the instuctions). The boxes are surprisingly heavy. This should be common sense, but the combined 3 boxes are about 300 lbs. Tips: There are a ton of parts. Make sure not to lose them. It will also take a lot more time than you'd expect to assemble. Don't be in a rush or you'll have to go back some steps. Assemble it in the room you plan to use it in. It is big and won't fit through doors. Putting the Smith bar in from the side requires a lot.of clearance. Pivot the rack towards a doorway if the room is small until you get past this part. You will need.clearance.on the back to rack plates. You should store plates here to add stability. The pullup bar has texture that caused handpain even though I have a lot of calluses. You may need workout gloves. In order to do seated rows and such, you'll need a lot of space in front of the cage. The included single hand straps suck. Buy better ones.

It was easy to assemble and offers all the features of machines that cost twice as much. Even after a winter in an unheated garage, it held up perfectly. I’ve had this machine for about 2 weeks now. For the money it’s good value but understand it’s not what you will find at a professional Gym. The stack on which the weights sit for the pull bare square. And the movement is not as fluid when you use the pulleys. So the weight is less than what I would use in a gym due to the resistance. They are plastic as well, and I can’t help but imagine metal would have been a better design. I use WD40 frequently to keep lubrication between the plastic and the metal. Also the smith bar portion isn’t set to 1 support bar. Meaning, you could lock in the left side but not have locked in the right. Just have to be very intentional but the movement provides as expected and is much smoother due to the metal support bars instead of plastic Again this is a good product; not great. But for the price I’m happy.

Listen, this is a great machine for the price. Building is not too bad, but it does take about 2 hours. The smith bar is perfect (smooth). The two pulley bars are the key. So many more exercises than with just one pulley. Only issue is that the design of the plastic caps on the pole that holds the weight for these pulleys. You need to apply WD 40 to the vertical bars and then it is fantastic. The part bags are a joke without labeling, but pretty easy to figure out. Note: be especially careful on the lengths of screws (they look the same) I’ve been using this machine for 3 weeks. If I had a chance to buy again. I would buy the same one. This is a great machine.

The media could not be loaded. I am writing this review in the hope that it helps both the manufacturer to improve it, and any customer planning on buying it to know what they are getting. I am returning this product because I felt it was not operating smoothly, especially the pulley system. The pulley system is design to move along a square cross-sectional tack, which the same metal pillar that hold the machine in back end. The friction of the parts as the pulley system moves up/down is a major flaw in the design. For example, when using relatively low weights (less than 50lb) the pulley skips and “stutters” as it is going down, which is annoying and disruptive to the exercise flow. So if you need to use relatively low weight for biceps/triceps, or if you are someone who wants to use low weights for any reason, then this is product is going to disappoint you. As I a mentioned, the friction on the pulley systems is a draw back and renders this machine almost non usable. Another thing I realized right off the bat is that to change the position of the pulley handle and the cable in the front to adjust the pulley system up/down you need to unload the whole weights in the back off the pulley system, position the pulley handle where you need it, and then reload weights in the back again. That is also highly not convenient and disruptive. I have videos showing what I mentioned, and I will upload them to explain what I am talking about. The positives things: I received the machine within a week of ordering it (in different parcels over a few days, but still it was relatively fast). I put the machine together over the weekend and that went really easy and relatively quick (took about 3-4h); if you are familiar with IKEA products, then this will be easy to assemble. And I have to say that I liked the design of the machine and how sturdy it is. The smith machine seems to be ok nice, but the pulley system needs serious improvement.
