For the way I live my life, this is the best planner layout I've found! It is structured, but flexible enough that I can use the different sections to suit my needs. I like that I can start planning any day of the week and month. I appreciate this flexibility. I haven't quite figured out the layout of the Habit Tracker section, and I only track going to the gym, so I just write it there. I like vertical hourly per day, but typical planner layouts for scheduling are typically a week on 2 pages, and the spaces are too narrow for me to write everything I want. With this layout, I have plenty of room to write without cramping words together so that I can't read what I wrote. The to-do section has enough to-do spaces to accommodate the days when I have lots to do. I use the Big Wins section is perfect to track my hydration. I typically leave the Improve section blank, since it's too small to write much. I use the Notes section to write miscellaneous stuff, and it's plenty roomy for that. It is a heavy planner, so I usually leave it at home. If someone wants to get scheduled into my calendar, I wait until I get home to verify I'm available. Not optimum, but smaller planners I can carry easily in a purse or backpack don't have enough space for me to write. ... show more

Finally! I found the perfect planner that tracks so much and includes a weekly review, to sum up the week and plan for the next. It is very well made, hardbound, and is undated, allowing you to start at any time of the year. This planner has it all and doesn't waste space while doing it. Pros: well made, aesthetically pleasing design. Lots of potential. Perfect if you want a planner to double as a goal tracker *at home* with lots of thoughtfully focused structure on a daily basis. I think this works best if you really commit to it as a tool to use daily as it is designed to be used because it’s very structured. This is more like a big beautiful diary for high achieving grown ups who want to journal exactly the same way every day. Cons: Heavy and clunky when used outside the home. Feels more like I’m packing a college textbook or a second laptop. Biggest problem is that you must lay flat to use which takes up LOTS of space. It really bothered me that at most only four days are shown at a glance and each day is subdivided into way too many tiny boxed sections for my needs. I do not write super small so it was just not enjoyable to write in it. Cramped. Every other page only shows three days at a glance. There is weekly summary box in place of the fourth day. Like I said, it’s more like a system that needs to be used exactly as it is designed or else you wind up carrying around a big book you are only halfway using. For comparison, I used the Blue Sky large planner (same 8.5x11 size) for years. It is much lighter and portable. Each day of the week has about as much real estate, but the entire week at a glance fits across two open pages. Because it is spiral-bound, you can fold it back on itself and save space when open. Each day is one large block of lined space. Depending on my needs that day, I could write sentences comfortably across the whole box, doodle, or subdivide the space by drawing vertical lines inside the box to provide structure. At times I wished there was more built-in structure. Now, I realize I liked having options depending on my needs that day. I wanted to try something with a little more built-in structure and a little better quality. The Smart Planner Pro Daily was simply too much of both which somehow undermined rather than improved my use of it. It’s very nice to look at, but just is not as practical for me. I travel often. I carry my planner everywhere. I enjoy a large full sized planner because physically writing down appointments, lists, and doodles works for my brain and I prefer the larger boxes for writing daily in this 8x11 size. But I’m going back to blue sky planners because of their better week at a glance design, which retains lots of open space devoted to the individual days of the week, and is lighter weight and foldable when open. ... show more
