We love this product!!! I bought this product because my wife who has problems with her hands has had troubles of late with standard door knobs and with the lever it is extremely easy for her to use. Another thing is that this has so many options to unlock this door very easily. I have set it up to lock again automaticly after 3 seconds of opening the door, some of you may ask what if you walk back outside again and well, if you are unloading the car then all you have to do is not complete;y close door while unloading the car. On my key chain, all we have on our key chain is the key for the car or truck. Nothing Else, just a key for the vehicle and that means less bulk and weight in my pocket and my wifes purse.

I’m really happy with this smart door handle lock. Installation was quick and straightforward, even for someone who isn’t very handy. The fingerprint scanner works fast and reliably, and being able to unlock the door without carrying keys is perfect for someone who frequently forgets key. This is a very nice lock and appears to be well made. It also works well so far. I left off a star because of a few minor details. I used this to replace an old Kwikset lever lock that had worn out after a decade or so of use. This was easy to install and worked well on my back door which has the deadbolt hole placed a little too close to the doorknob hole where this lock mounts. With the old KW I had to turn the inside unit upside down to make it work but this unit is short enough to fit properly. The fingerprint to open is great and works well although I did have to enter my thumb at 2 different angles and learn that I had to place the finger on it and hold for about a second. The minor details: (1.) There is no easy way to lock the door from the inside. A simple button wired to the main board through the battery connection cable should be incorporated in future designs. (2.) Locking the lock from the outside isn't easy either. You do it by touching and holding the checkmark key. This usually takes two taps on the key holding it the second time when it beeps. If I were writing the firmware for this thing, I would have made the fingerprint sensor toggle the lock. In other words, if the door is locked and a valid print is used, it unlocks. If the door is unlocked and a valid print is used it locks. So, if the manufacturer is reading this, please consider this change to the firmware. It is to me the intuitive way to do things. The auto lock feature is good but not for me. I want to leave the door unlocked until I want it locked. It should be easy to lock the door manually, without the need of the app. (3.) Making it work with Alexa was tricky for me. I bought the bundle with the wi-fi gateway because I wanted to control it remotely and also by voice with my echo devices. I first set the gateway up in the Smart Things (actually Brilliant Smart - Tuya) app which I was already using for other things. and added the lock. Everything appeared to work except Alexa voice control. It replied with a device not responding error even though the lock itself was working through the app. So, I started over and set everything up in the Nice Digi app. That worked except there is no Alexa voice control because Nice Digi doesn't have an Alexa skill. So, I tried a third time by deleting it from the Nice Digi app and again pairing the gateway with the Brilliant Smart-Tuya app. Third time was a charm as it all works now. This just may be an old man issue, but I usually breeze through linking up IOT devices. Maybe Nice Digi should consider writing their own Alexa skill instead of using Smart Life. I do like being able to lock/unlock the door with Alexa voice control as well as being able to control it from anywhere with the Tuya compatible app. So, I recommend buying the bundle with the gateway included. In general, despite my minor issues, I am happy with the purchase so far and expect I will enjoy having the smart upgrade from my old lock. I do hope it lasts as long as that old KW did!

Girls Friendly！I’m a woman and installed it myself with no problem！ I love that you can unlock it with your phone, fingerprint, or passcode. so easy for all family members. It runs on batteries, but the battery life seems great. I’ve used it for a week and the app still shows 100% battery. So convenient and highly recommended!

I absolutely love this lock. It offers five unlocking methods, and each family member can set their own unique passcode. My favorite feature is that I can simply close the door to lock it; my previous digital lock had a delayed response, which often meant I wouldn't realize the door hadn't actually locked until I got home at night—a major safety risk.
