My husband handled the installation and said it was very straightforward and easy to set up. The instructions were clear, and it didn’t take long at all. The app is also simple and user-friendly. It connects easily and works smoothly. It’s perfect for unlocking when you’re nearby — it works based on close proximity (Bluetooth range), so you do need to be within a certain distance for automatic unlocking. The only thing to note is that you can’t unlock it remotely if you’re out of town or at work unless you’re within Bluetooth range. However, you can create passcodes, which is really convenient and makes up for that limitation. Overall, this is a really great lock, especially for a bedroom or interior room door. We’re very happy with it and would definitely recommend it!

This was very easy to install and set up. The lock itself is well built. It works great in the rain. I like how you can enter extra buttons to obscure your password. I also like that it has a key fob. The fingerprint scanner works well. I like that is has a backlight for the key pad which makes it easy to see at night. The app is very easy to use. It logs all the opening and closings. I like how easy it is to set up and change the pin. Overall this is a great lock for the price. It has a lot of features and is well built.

Build quality of this lock feels solid and premium. It looks very good on my door. The installation and app set up is very convenient. Just follows the app and it took me less than 20 minutes to finish everythin including setting up the fingerprint and password. Fingerprint recognition is very acurate and fast. Battery life seems good so far and it is convenient to remove the cover and replace batteries. Overall, this smart lock is reliable, secure, and extremely convenient. If you’re on the fence about switching to a smart lock, this one is worth it.

Summary I installed this smart knob on our front door as a safety measure to prevent our son from eloping in the middle of the night. Because of that, I reversed the standard installation so the keypad and fingerprint reader face inside. The lock works very well in this setup, but installation required more adjustment than expected. Performance & Reliability Once I calibrated the fingerprint reader the right way — grabbing the knob quickly and at different angles, the same way I would in a real exit situation — it became very reliable. It unlocks fast and feels natural to use. The only time I get failed reads is when my hand is wet, which is pretty normal for fingerprint sensors. The door feels very secure once locked. The knob has a solid feel, and the mechanism engages firmly. Installation Experience This was the trickiest part. Because of the size of the keypad, I had to raise the deadbolt a few millimeters to make everything fit correctly. Not difficult, but definitely not a drop‑in replacement. Our front door originally had a long vertical exterior handle. Once removed, the old paint outline was visible, which meant repainting the door. Replacement long handles do exist, but since I installed this lock in reverse, that option wasn’t feasible. If you’re planning a similar reversed installation, expect some extra work and door adjustments. Pros - Fingerprint unlock is fast once calibrated properly - Very secure feel when locked - Keypad + fingerprint combo works well for safety‑focused setups - Clean, modern look Cons - Installation requires adjustments, especially with existing deadbolts - Removing old handles may expose unpainted areas - Wet hands can cause fingerprint misreads - Reversed installation limits hardware replacement options Final Verdict A strong, reliable smart knob that works extremely well once installed — especially for families needing an inside‑facing keypad for safety reasons. Just be prepared for some door modifications during installation.

Easy to use and install! Battery life is great. Fingerprint access can be a bit tricky as you have to place it on the pad just right but you get the hang of it after a couple uses. Very good quality and looks great! No issues controlling it from app either. Key pad lights up so it’s easy to see in the dark. Love the ease of access to my home instead of fumbling around searching for keys! Def worth the purchase!
