The lock has exceeded all my expectations and has become an integral part of my garage security system. No more fumbling for keys, losing keys, or the lock being stuck, everything was so easy. This is a nice smart lock. The manual is clearly written for someone who is a first time user. The lock itself has several ways of unlocking. 1. Using a passcode via the keypad, 2. Fingerprint scan, 3. Key fob, 4. Physical key, 5. Phone app unlock. The unit uses 4 AA batteries for operation and also has a usb-c port to supply wired power. The app was easy to use it took sometime to figure out how everything worked. Fingerprint setup has to be initiated from the mobile app. The app also provides features like providing temporary timed access codes and fingerprints as passkeys for guests. The packing list only says 2x key fobs are included, but I actually received 4 which is a bonus. The app is mostly proprietary specific to this device. Don't think the app or the software connects to other smart eco systems so if you are already invested in them, then probably this might not be the one for you. The media could not be loaded. I've been wanting to get a smart lock for some time so I don't have to carry keys when go out for a walk. Got it when it's on sale (nice price). The install is easy enough, just need some minor adjustments. Once installed and downloaded the app, the rest is really easy and friendly to use. I really like the clean yet stylish design. What's fun about a lock? Well, there is certainly nothing fun about a key! This keyless entry deadbolt lock is so convenient that I could never go back to a regular lock again! As far as fun... this thing talks, enough said! Alright, I'll mention a few more things. The lock was extremely easy to install if you are just replacing a current lock and/or your holes are already drilled. It took less than 15 minutes. You do have to download an app and configure it and that took a bit longer, but it went pretty smooth and was easy to understand. Just make sure you have Bluetooth enabled on your phone and you are near your door. Once it's setup, you won't need your phone anymore unless you want to make some changes, including your passcode or fingerprints. Speaking of fingerprints, this is my favorite feature! It is very responsive and fast. You can store multiple family members and friends fingerprints, and/or you can store multiple fingers so you have the choice of which is most convenient to use when you arrive home. You can also delete fingerprints using your app, in case we've removed someone from our circle of trust (we all have that one friend). This uses an app called TTLock. The app has too many features to go over here, but just about anything you can imagine with a lock, it can do. One feature in particular is setting up auto lock. You can pick the number of seconds, after unlocking the door, before it automatically locks again. You can also set up Passage mode and with this you can set up a schedule that will bypass auto lock until a set time (such as night). This works well when you or others are coming and going in and out frequently during certain time periods. I've been using this lock for only about a week, so I can't speak to long term reliability yet, but it does seem very well made, has a responsive light up animated keypad, looks great, and in case you forgot, it talks! Although, when I entered the wrong code a couple times, she sounded a little bit irritated. She probably needs to learn more patience, but I'll still give it 5 stars! ... show more
