Smart Bike TailLights, Brake Sensing Rear Lights, Auto On/Off, Waterproof, USB Rechargeable, Ultra Bright LED Warning Back Bicycle Flashlight, Cycling Safety Accessories I ordered this on November 22nd, then two weeks later received a notice that there was an issue and if I wanted to cancel my order, but chose to continue with the order, then received a notice advising delivery would be in 2025, did finally arrive on December 23rd (after being told it would arrive on January 2, 2025), via USPS, left in our mailbox, intact and undamaged. Was disappointed by the long delay but that is something beyond my control. The fit and finish is very nice, I don’t like the down tube silicon strap, would prefer a permanent mount that can’t accidentally fall off, 6 light modes, is very bright on high mode, auto on/off to save battery life (description says about 50 hours per charge), auto brake sensing, has battery life indicator, must manually turn on if you want it to work during the day time, am thinking about just covering the light sensor, is USB charge. I ordered this for my wheelchair, because I need to increase visibility when I am in my wheelchair and navigating parking lots where drivers are watching for vehicles but are oblivious to small low wheelchairs. I am trying to figure out how to permanently secure the quick release mount onto the back of my wheelchair, is a work in progress. I’m impressed by the slowing/braking sensing ability, was worried that it might be an issue on a wheelchair but it works fine, am not worried about the auto off feature while I’m in my wheelchair because it is pretty bumpy which will keep the light on. I am testing out this smart bike taillight and if satisfied, might order two (2) more (although the price had doubled in the past month), one for right and left side of my wheelchair. It does auto wake up when I start moving around in the wheelchair. The suggested MSRP is very reasonable, more so because I use to be a bike enthusiast years ago, and did average a couple hundred miles of road biking every week on my days off. So am aware of the dangers when biking on roadways, especially in Hawaii where there is a serious lack of dedicated bike lanes in rural neighborhoods. Back then, I owned and used every piece of safety equipment available. And intend on likewise doing so when having to venture out in public with my wheelchair. I am giving this a 4 Star rating, minus 1 Star for lack of permanent post bracket and because the manufacture jacked up the price to $40 then lowered it back down to $20, will revisit my review if I discover a major problem.

I've only used for a short period of time, but very happy with this bike light. I commute via bike for work the majority of the year, including dark nights. Love that this bike light is larger and bright, while still streamline. Easy to toggle through the light options.. still understanding how the auto brake works (need a friend behind me to report how well it works!). Seems to hold a good charge though I'll try to update in a few months after more use. LOVE that the bike mount stays out then you can firmly twist the light on/off to prevent it being stolen - feels very secure but much faster than other removable methods.

This rear bike light has a few more features than your typical blinking tail light. It has a fairly high level of brightness and a few different blink settings, but what sets it apart from similar lights is the "sensor" features. First, it senses motion, which means it can go from blinking mode to steady light when it senses you slowing down or coming to a stop (brake light mode). It's fairly sensitive, so you don't need to be speeding or drastically change speed to get it to work. Next, if you haven't moved for a bit, it will turn off to save battery. I'm not sure how I feel about this just yet, as it seems to turn off fairly quickly, which means it may shut off if you stop at a light for a minute or so, which isn't great for your visibility. It also has a light sensing mode that will turn the light on when the ambient light in the area is low (guessing this is an auto-night mode). I'm planning on using this with just the brake sensing turned on (not sure you can actually turn it off). It's super easy to mount and comes with an easy on/off rubber strip and a more "semi-permanent screw mount for your saddle. The shape of it is nice an uninstrusive as it follows the length of your saddle tube.

The design is sleek and the different light options are cool, however, depending on the bicycle you have (we have a folding bicycle) it may not be a good fit for your needs. It is not the brightest light either, but it gets the work done.
