I was not planning to write a review for this portable air compressor. I purchased it with my own money after researching lots of options. It just seemed like a good balance between features and cost. I decided to get it out and test it just to be sure it worked. I really appreciate that it has controls to set the air pressure desired and just turn it on and walk away. It stops a few times during inflation to check the tire pressure, and I tested it 8 times and every time it inflated each tire from 20 to exactly 35psi, verified with a separate gauge. I expected it to be so much louder that it was, it was not really very loud at all. And due to its size, the sound was less high pitched that I expected too. It was very fast to fill the tires, and it was also extremely easy to use. It comes with instructions, but you just connect it to your battery, set the psi you want, attach the house to the compressor and tire and turn the power on. It's pretty large and heavy, not really something you would want to carry in a little car for little car tires, but for SUVs and trucks it is fantastic. I can't speak to longevity yet, but it says 2 year warranty which is longer than many other brands, and based on my initial experience I have no reason to think it will not last much longer than that with moderate usage. It did get warm so I let it cool down before I packed it back away in my vehicle.

Just received the dual cylinder air compressor. Tested by pulling valve stem core out of one of my 315/70r17 (35x12.50r17) tires i have on my jeep. Once empty, reinstalled valve stem core and tested the compressor. after 1 min had gone from 0psi to 13psi. After another minute i was at 24psi. after 30 more seconds i was at 30psi. i stopped and checked the built-in gauge with a second gauge. both read within 1psi of each other. So in two and a half minutes it filled my tire from zero to 30psi. And went from a trail pressure of 13psi to a highway pressure of 30 psi in 1.5 minutes. for me that is plenty fast. and if my math works once i get a 4 tire inflation system i could air up in around 6 minutes. If this lasts for a few years it is for sure a winner. time will tell though.

I just got it and it seems to work well. I run 305/70r17 on my 4Runner and it ran them from 20 - 35 psi in 179 seconds. Pretty impressive, although, the rubber line coming off of the compressor gets fire hot. I have a 4-tire inflator system I purchased and hooked up to this compressor. The digital display got so hot that I couldn't hold it any longer and had to lay it on the ground. Definitely should address the heat. I understand the heat at the motor, but to travel through the rubber hose and into the portable manifold is not really acceptable.

To air up, all four wheels are connected together (using a system purchased separately). This air compressor takes all four tires from 25psi to 37 psi in less than 5 minutes. I had tried another similar compressor, but the quick disconnect would not connect to my system so I returned it and bought this. The most impressive thing was that the comressor did not even get hot! I have only used it twice, so not info on longevity/rediability.

The air compressor does a soild job with larger truck and RV tires. I trashed the feeble hoseline. This compressor does not come with a air guage that stops the flow of air to your tire. I replaced it with a 30 foot quality ⅜ rubber hose and air Rhino guage.
