This is a revised review after further use of the grip. This is a well made product and provides a thick pronounced grip when attached to a Fuji X100VI. The grip protects the bottom of the camera and easily attaches to a tripod. It allows attachment through an Arca tripod mount or by screws at the bottom. At first, I thought that it was too thick for EDC use but it provides excellent support and looks nice. I changed my rating from four to five stars.

I've tried far too much X100 accessories than I'd like to admit. Only to be disappointed in with either quality, presentation, or compatibility, I am happy to say Smallrig has the ideal grip for us fortunate enough to own the X100 V/VI. Most grips are all black even the plate which disrupts the look (IMO) of my silver version. I love how the base plate is a proper silver that matches perfectly with the camera. There has been some negative feedback of the grip not sitting flush with the VI and as you can see in then photos that is not an issue. I believe that since it can adjust the mounting point to accommodate both the V and the VI you just need to simply hold the grip portion to the body of the camera as you tighten the plate in. Next is the feel of the grip portion, and although it looks very similar to the texture of the x100, it is significantly grippier! Also a clever neat bonus is it comes with a tool that magneticly attaches to the button plate so if you ever need to remove the plate (which would be silly) or add a different plate and it too has a flat head screw you have a tool already ready to go! As you can tell, I am pretty happy with what smallrig has made for the X100! I even picked up the thumbs up attachment! Enough reading...go buy it!

The quality is very nice as you expect from smallrig. the camera handles better, although aesthetically, i would prefer lose the grip. and it definitely solve the problem when you want to put tripod mounting and not covering the battery door.

I love this grip. It looks like a seamless part of the camera and I was so happy with it I also bought the hot shoe thumb grip as well. Really helps the camera feel more secure with my hands and not having to deathgrip it

Waited a month for the SmallRig version of the grip for my x100vi. If you’re not picky, you won’t have any issues. Silver finish, and the grip rubber is soft- adding a nice feel to it. Only downside is the gap in between the grip and the body (shown on 3rd picture). Other than the aesthetic meh, it’s a sturdy grip that outdo other brands with a reasonable price.

I fear losing grip with my new Fujifilm x100vi. I also have some hand weakness from a shoulder injury as well some hand tremors from the meds I take. This grip gives me the stability I need and has eliminated the difficulties I was having. For me this has been a must, especially for low light shooting. It also fits perfectly, looks integral to the design of the camera, and the added weight balances the camera exceptionally well. I strongly recommend the SmallRig Handgrip. (I purchased this with my own money)
