Recently had to replace all my 99wh vmounts as I put them through the ringer and just went ahead and got Smallrig ones. They've been amazing. Works well, charges quick. and the ONLY issue I've had is the USB-C port is pretty close to the mount area so some of cords I had to snake around differently since the clearance wasn't the same as some other vmounts. This particular one is a REALLY loud orange. Aesthetically it's nice and a lot easier to find in the camera bag, but it does show up a pretty gnarly amount if your gear is in the shoot somehow. I might take some gaffers to "De-loud" it a little bit, but outside of the outer shell it works just as well as other SmallRig batteries. Getting a few of these, the 212's and the v50's have been a solid step this year. The other vmounts we had from other companies still hold a charge, but things like screens started dying any one vmount just straight up died. The Smallrig ones have all been solid and kept close to the charge it started with. This I believe is a newer Vmount battery from Smallrig, so I will update this review if the experience is different. 100w pd charging is amazing by the way. Sometimes the in between breaks I have are only a few hours and that's way more than enough time to get this back up to 85%+.

This battery is all that I need. The 99wh is more than enough to keep my camera charged, power my monitor, and power my cooling fan with enough capacity to get through a 2-3 hour shoot. Smallrig’s design and layout of the battery gives you a lot of connection options, as well as improves cable management. The compact design helps to keep the weight of my rig down and does not look as much of an eyesore as the larger batteries do with smaller mirrorless cameras. Great battery with a lot of capacity and a lot of options for connectivity.

The quality is here with this battery! The plastic it is made from is nice and thick and the battery feels substantial in the hand. I accidently dropped this on my wood floor from a height of about 3 feet and there was no breakage anywhere. The LED readout for the battery life indication was bright and easy to read. Love that you have the combo of DC and USB PD connectivity here. I use this battery to power my Sony FX3 via USB cable and I can shoot all day long on this single battery. I personally feel to get a better quality v-mount battery than this one, expect to speed $300 or more. The quality is here for sure!

If you've happened to read any of my reviews before, you'll know I'm a SmallRig fanboy. I really like their products... sans one tripod head that I received that was trying to reinvent the wheel... but I digress. This v-mount is no exception to my fanboydome... it really is a solid battery. It's simple, straightforward and works. Function, styling, performance, and form factor are all top-notch compared to any other v-mount battery that I have. With that said, it's expensive relative to the other 99Wh hour batteries that I have... around $100 more than the rest. SmallRig, in general, is more expensive than many of the other consumer brands on the market. Does the function, styling, performance, and form factor deserve that kind of premium? In all honesty, probably not. If for example the 99Wh provided even 25-50% longer run time compared to the other batteries and then you added in all of the other SmallRig bonuses like styling, then maybe it would be worth it. Maybe it's longevity that demands such a high price point. Only time will tell. Overall, as a SmallRig fanboy, I'm happy with this product. Granted I didn't have to pay its high price point but that neither here nor there since my reviews are not governed/reviewed/influenced by the seller - they don't know me from Adam. I am simply a fan of SmallRig because 90% of the gear I buy or receive is pretty great.

I have a VB99 from last year, and LOVE IT so jumped on a new one, Love everything about the VB99, but this new model changed the ports, and it only has one USB-C port, compared to the previous VB99 I have that has two USB-C ports. Other than that, it's a great v-mount batter, just miss the extra USB-C port for sure.
