I found the small rig cage to be very well made and fit camera body perfectly. I have purchased a few other video rigs and this is an order of magnitude better than more generic ones. Every port, door and opening works - the unit is light and gives much more of a grip for my left had to stabilize the camera. The only challenge was figuring out where I should attach my sliding camera strap - I eventually settled upon attaching it to the cage at the bottom so my strap would not interfere with other functions at the top end of the camera. I was able to attach my zoom digital audio recorder, my wireless transmitter and external Lumecube without it feeling bulky. I highly recommend this product - just be sure that you the right adapters to connect everything.

great product! a must-have if you are doing videography with the Canon RP camera. product fits perfectly with the camera and you can add very useful attachments. It also provides protection to your camera body which is a great bonus. It's very lightweight also. The Canon RP feels much better in the hands with the small rig cage attached in my opinion.

This is my second SmallRig cage for a second camera and love it. In an age of flexibility shooting both photographs and video the camera needs to be supportive and that’s what I like about these cages. They’re custom fit for your particular camera model so you have full access to all of your camera features and buttons while also having the option of attaching a mic or accessory on ANY side of the camera. Whether you’re adding a mic, an extension pole, or flash remote AND mic, handle, or whatever this has you covered.

The cage fit really well onto my EOS RP and functioned just as it should. It felt really solid and the locating pin was very helpful in making sure the connection was solid. I had some issues with one of the 1/4’’-20 holes on top of the cage, however support took care of it right away and was very nice and helpful throughout the whole process. Would definitely buy again.

Not sure where the Warmthness and Sheerness fit in..... but this thing sure protects the camera well. And the selections for other mounts are great.

The anti-rotation pin and the main mounting screw were too close together by about 1mm. I had to dremel out the main mounting hole for proper fitment.
