Really nicely designed; a beautiful glaze, and shape of the cup and the 'water-formed stone' shape of the base is really pleasing. A gift for my wife- she loves it. Very high quality workmanship. This is my second time purchasing this mug. This version is more current and works far better than the first. This will keep your coffee warm until the last sip is left. I absolutely love it!

Great mug and looks amazing. Fits very well into all the other mugs we have and almost would never know it had any tech under it to keep things warm. The base does have an auto shut off after so long of no movement which is nice. The coffee stayed very warm and perfect to drink. Only two minor issues. There are no settings for heat. It just is one setting of heat and you have to be happy with the heat (however its not scolding hot, its perfect) The other minor thing I noticed is that other mugs of similar or exact same price are able to heat off base for a duration without needing it (battery) and have settings for how the temperature is kept. Over all - this was something i didn't know we needed but will be getting more of this mug or similar. Its not a bad price by any means.

Having gone through four charging plates and re-paired my mug with the app too many times to remember, I finally had it with the Ember mug. I loved it and used it for many years but the expense of the very flimsy charging plate (one tiny, cheap spring breaks a $40 piece) every six months is unbearable. There are many knock-offs that try to simplify the solution are available, but THIS solution (UI 3 self-heating mug) is THE solution I was looking for. I love induction cooking and understand it completely. Taking the intelligence OUT of the cup and into the charging stand with NO MOVING PARTS is genius! Embed a steel plate in the bottom of the ceramic mug and let the charger automatically heat to temp when the mug in in place - Wonderful! Just have to be careful not to place an empty mug on the charger. No batteries, no app, no moving parts, no worries. AND it charges your phone when you're not using it to warm your coffee/tea. :) :) :) I'm in love with this product <3
