  • High Brightness LED Light: The 220W light could offer 8,670 Lux@1M (3.3ft) without the reflector and 84,500 Lux @1M (3.3ft) with the hyper reflector (package include) at 5600K. The illuminance level of other ordinary 200W~250W video light can only reach 65000Lux @1M. It's a great continuous light for Youtube videos, live-streaming, studio, photoshoots, and so on.
  • Silent Cooling Fan and Bowens Mount: With built-in silent mode, this fan allows for a quiet shooting experience. Press the Reset button three times to activate the mode and three more times to deactivate it. At a distance of 1 meter, the fan produces a noise level of about 30dB 2dB. Note that the cooling fan and light are reduced in power when in silent mode. The Bowens mount allows you to add any modifiers within the load-bearing range, while getting a professional look.
  • Precise Lighting Adjustment and Intelligent Wireless Control: CRI 95+, TLCI 96+, color temperature of 2700K-6500K and 9 light effects adapt to the user's multi scene shooting needs. In addition to manual control, you can easily adjust the brightness from 0% to 100% through the mobile phone via the SmallGoGo App, and observe the data through the LED screen.
  • 2 Power Supply Modes: 1 Direct power supply from the AC power adapter. Power cable length up to 6m (19.6ft). 2Powered by a 14.4V/26V V-mount battery (Package not include).     • Fan stopped working
Great light when it worked, but after about 5 uses the fan stopped working which makes it pretty much a brick right now. Now receiving "fan error" when it is on with any kind of modifier for 1 min. UPDATE: Following my issue above, I was contacted by the seller/Smallrig and they sent me a new light. Great customer service which is so appreciated along with a great light and all other Smallrig products I have used.     • Best Light I've Ever Purchased
I've been doing my own freelance film work on a low budget for 13 years and I can safely say with the utmost confidence this is the best light I've ever purchased. The only thing that could possibly make it better would be a full RGB range, but I knew what I was getting into when I bought it so I don't hold that against the rating. The SmallRig RC 220B is easy to use and can even be controlled wirelessly from an app. For that feature alone, a light of this magnitude is more than worth the cost. Speaking of cost!     • Great, but V-Mount Battery Hog
The light is fantastic. Great quality, easy to use, and love that it takes V-mount batteries. That said, if you are going to shoot V-Mount, bring a bunch of them with you. And bring them charged.     • Lovely But Now Doesn’t Stay On (UPDATED)
I bought this in May 2022, and had so much fun using this light - lightweight, powerful, easy to use - sadly, now in Oct 2022, the light won’t stay on more than 30 seconds-1 minute. It would shut off saying “Fan Error.” Also, I noticed that during the 30 seconds-1 minute timeframe, the fan wouldn’t run even at the highest power. And it gets hot before it shuts down automatically. UPDATE (Oct 22, 2022): Reached out to SmallRig Customer Service and Alice at their department has been a great help and coordinated a quick shipment of a replacement. These lights are truly amazing, I travel a tremendous amount for my shoots and have not had lights this good and lightweight (I travel with two RC220Bs). And to see how responsive their department was is quite amazing, especially responding within 1 day. I'm hoping that they are able to resolve what the issue is with the light they replaced, because it's become my trusted, reliable set of lights. ... show more

The light is awesome. It is good value for home studio video shooting. But the knobs came both broken and the charging adapter came scratched. Looks like is is not a new light, but a used one. Please when I reorder, send me a brand new one. Please. Thanks.

Conducted a lighting test with the RC 220B next to my tungsten 1k. Since I was a little confused on how the Lux lighting system rates. The RC 220 is just as bright at the 1k. The video was shot on Blackmagic RAW Film, 24fps, ISO 400, 1/48, 2.8 - Panasonic 14mm, 3200k, Tint 0.
