I thought for sure this was machined aluminum.. bit it appears to be a composite of some kind. VERY strong. VERY light. It has multiple attachment points. I never take it off actually.. it's been a great 'shield' for my camera. I will say, if you think your R6 is a little "big" to start, I would look at 1/2 cages... I have big hands, so this works very well for me... If I upgrade my camera at anytime, you can bet that I'll get the appropriate smallrig cage for it, too.

Love all the connection points this has. It is built very well. The main screw that hold the cage on does come loose once in a while and has to be retightened. The small tool is included to do this so it can be done on the go! The tool stays attached to the cage magnetically.

I have owned several Small Rig camera accessories, they've gone up in price with their products for camera accessories. I think the price is expensive for what is offered. The quality of the product doesn't justify the price.

This cage is just perfect for my canon r6. With all the connection option it still keeps a low profile. Lightweight too.

The good thing about this cage is that, it is slim and fits perfectly with the camera. I don’t remove it at all so less work assembling my rig for video.
