- FOR MONITOR SMALLRIG Monitor Mount 2174 is designed to hold your monitor onto any cage or handle via 3/8"threaded hole for ARRI standard. It enables the cameraman to have better monitoring as per the needs in different shooting scenarios.
- NOTEThe monitor mount is compatible with 5 inch or 7 inch monitor and supports monitor up to 1.5kg. Also, if a cage haven't locating holes for ARRI standard, you can mount optional Mini Plate 2171 via two 1/4" threaded holes first, then it allows to attach the monitor mount 2174.
- ROTATION ADJUSTMENT Rotation axis enables this monitor holder to adjust the position of monitor up to 146 with only one hand for better monitoring as per your needs at different directions during shooting.
- COMPATIBLITY The SMALLRIG monitor mount is compatible to SMALLRIG A7III Cage 2087, BMPCC 4K Cage 2203, Z6 / Z7 Cage 2243, D850 Cage 2129, NATO Handle1955 and any cage or handle with 3/8 locating holes.
- TOOLLESS INSTALLATION The monitor mount connect cage can be tighten by hands via the thumbscrew, which provide a quick release for users. Also, it comes with a hole for using the Allen wrench to re-tighten it.

This product is great! It's very well made and does a great job of supporting my monitor and keeping it in place. The locating pins are also a great feature, as they help to keep the monitor from moving around. This SmallRig EVF/monitor mount is honestly a tank. I slapped it on my rig and it hasn’t budged once, even when I’m moving around filming sports or adjusting angles on the fly. The ARRI locating pins make it lock in super tight, so there’s zero wobble or drift. It’s smooth when you want to tilt it, stiff when you need it to stay put, and just feels way higher quality than most mounts in this price range. If you run an external monitor, this is one of those “buy it once and stop worrying about it” pieces of gear.

This right here makes the monitor closer to either the handle or the actual camera itself. You would need something else or different mounting system to be able to remove it easily so once you lock it down, it’s kind of stood in place, but I do like the fact that it makes the camera closer to the body.

I see one of the biggest complaints is about the "two small pins." This is an ARRI mount. People should do their research before complaining about the design. I use mine with the MD2393 handle which uses an ARRI mount and its perfect for a low profile rig setup. The design is rugged but I do agree with other reviewers that the price is a bit steep. I would recommend using this with a 5" to 5.5" monitor if you intend to have one in front of the handle.
