So I waited until this bottle was about gone to leave a review. I tried another less expensive brand 1st and it was decent but didn't give the flavor I was hoping for so I got this one. I will be totally honest this one could be slightly more flavorful than the other one if at all they are both very very similar and I have the same complaint with both and that is they are more sweet than they are flavorful. The lavender flavor is there but it's very ....muted? Slight? I mean I would say it's "good" but it's not great by any means. I have had better success with angle bake lavender extract giving a better flavor, a much much much better flavor without the overwhelming sweetness. But if you just want a touch of lavender and want it super sweet this is for u! I just prefer the lavender flavor and to skip all the sugar. Some people find lavender "soapy" tasting. I don't agree and I am actually in the process of making my own extracts and syrups so I can make them as I choose. It's way less expensive in the long run. You can get culinary lavender in a large amount all over online (read reviews) I also wanted organic ENGLISH culinary lavender to be exact. They did not offer it on amazon. But if you don't mind french lavender they sell it in bulk on Amazon (for anyone interested) I just can't find a lavender syrup I am 100% thrilled with they all lack the floral flavor I am seeking. I might purchase this again at some point but I am in no hurry I like the color it adds more than anything. Like I said it's good its OK just not great. But tons of other people lobe it maybe u will too! I use mine for vanilla lavender iced matcha lattes as well as flavored water. I prefer the extra a million percent over any of the syrups I have tried. I have also learned that the reason Starbucks taste so good is due to the lavender powder not the syrup so they sell the extract powder on amazon too! 🙂 hope this helps someone! If you are looking for Sweet with a hint of lavender, then this is the syrup for you, but if you were looking for more of a lavender flavor because I make honey lavender lattes I use the Monin syrup, which has totally changed the game for me. It has more of a lavender taste that is not overpowering and it's sweet enough. Don't get me wrong. It's still a great syrup. If like I said if you want sweet with a hint of lavender and not feel like you're drinking the plant, I like them both equally but just flavor wise. Monin has won in my opinion. ... show more
