Work great with the Tilta cage for my ZV-E1. I had the Smallrig cage but the DJI Wireless Mic 2 adapter wouldn't fit so I had to buy the Tilta. Unfortunately the screw spacing on the handle I had for the Smallrig cage wouldn't fit the Tilta cage so I had to buy this. I wanted this quick release Nato rail anyhow, so it all worked out. Nato rail comes with this. I was worried about it getting in the way of the monitor when it is flipped out, but this is low profile and out of the way. ... show more

Beware of using this handle on a heavier setup. I just got 2 of these handles for my Hawklock cage. While installing one of the handles, the thumbscrew broke with very little force. I am including a photo showing the broken one with an extremely shallow weld. The nato rail option seems more sturdy, so I am using that. I am going on a trip soon so I dont have time to return these and replace with something else in time. The handle itself seems fine but feels like it will be uncomfortable with long filming sessions. This is due to the small size of the handle that makes your fingers or thumb have to wrap around the attachment bar. You are not able to adjust the height enough in either direction to remedy this. Only way to avoid the bar is to not wrap your fingers completely around the handle. But then you have a less secure grip. If you will be doing extended handheld shooting, you will want a handle with a deeper grip. I will be keeping these in the meantime as my setup is just the camera and small lenses. I do not recommend this handle if you will not be using the nato rail plate and attachment. ... show more

I expected better from SmallRig. This handle looks decent in pictures, but in person it feels cheap and lightweight, like hollow aluminum. The build doesn’t inspire much confidence when mounted on a heavier camera rig. It technically works, but the grip feels toy-like and the materials don’t match the “10kg load capacity” claim. For the price, I was hoping for something sturdier and more solid. If you’re using a small mirrorless setup it might be fine, but for anything heavier, I’d look elsewhere. ... show more
