Fits my 13 very well with no rattles or loose feel at all. Can't get the camera to move at all in this frame, but it slides in very easily at the same time. It's quite literally the perfect size. I love all the 1/4-20 mount's all over and the folding GoPro mounts. Gives good mount versatility. I read a few other reviews where people may not understand how to use it. You can absolutely use the stock waterproof cover, or aftermarket usb c pass through cover, or no side cover at all if you don't need one. All 3 will work, just need to remove or place the foam block. I like that it recesses the buttons, so I can turn back on quick capture and not risk it turning on and cooking itself in my backpack. Time will tell on drop protection, but hopefully I never truly test it. Feels like it would pretty much protect it from any kind of drop though. Paired this with some tempered glass screen protectors and feel like I've got it well protected now. It works well with the max lens mod 2 and other aftermarket filters. Good clearance for installing. Also see it has been well engineered with openings for the mic. Adds little weight, nothing I could even notice on a helmet mount. Also adds no noticeable size. All around very pleased for the money.

Pros: The metal is sturdy and pretty lightweight. It doesn't add too much size to it, just enough in my opinion. Adds a little protection for the camera body though I haven't truly abuse tested it beyond general use. It does seem to add a little heat dissipation with the metal looking at recording times. For me it also made it a little easier to grip than just the camera, especially when the body gets hot. Has finger mounts that are slightly magnetic and fold away like the camera's own and adds a 1/4 mount thread to the bottom. Havin both choices is useful. Easy installation and not much assembly. A locking switch at the top to open the cage for pretty simple install/removal. Shoe slot and a 1/4 screw hole on top (pretty much have to choose one or the other but that's what you get with gopro size being what it is. There are a couple of 1/4 screw holes on the power button side for another accessory. With the optional battery door it adds more 1/4 slots and another shoe on that side. The cage is perfectly functional without the included battery door. Just take out one screw. Cons: Mainly the battery door. If you don't use it you lose that valuable accessories slots on that side. The problem isn't that you need to remove the original door, it's that the smallrig door is a part of the cage. It doesn't attach to the camera so there are large gaps at the top and bottom between the thickness of the cage and the camera body. It holds the battery in place with a soft pad. It isn't anything proof so I'd be concerned with even light splashes or dust. Of course, you compromise a bit if you need a door with access to the usb-c port, but this door is especially bad. I'd recommend getting a door that attaches to the camera itself if you want the open usb port. Overall it's a good accessory. Pretty cheap, small enough to just keep on all the time, adds a little protection and heat dissipation. 1 star off for battery door execution.

This is actually the second one I’ve bought now that I have 2 GoPros. It’s a must have for my gear bag. We put our GoPros in some crazy spots and the have the protection is much needed. They are super easy to use. The metal frame adds a nice layer of protection and the material is great. I’ve already dropped it a couple times from pretty high up and the durability is unmatched. The functionality of putting in batteries is super nice. The design of these just make your GoPro look like a beast! It’s a great value for the money because it can SAVE your GoPro!

I love it! Its compatible with my Gopro Hero 10 is protected and this fits like a glove! It's a strong metal casing. I'm adding a magnetic light to stick to it for night use. Easy to open and use, great value for the money.

Wow, this is one is amazingly tough! I motovlog (film from a motorcycle) and I mount my camera on the windscreen and the rear rack. I’m always very nervous about damaging my cameras or losing them during a road trip. My front camera has taken a beating, but this cage has protected it flawlessly! The cameras fit into them snugly, but there’s just enough room to add a 1/16” thick piece of string through the frame to act as a leash. I’ve got both cameras mounted in one of these cages and I have a piece of string attached from the cage to the motorcycle….so I’m no longer worried about the camera falling off and losing it. I’ve dropped my camera off a tower hunting blind and it hit one of the steel steps 14 feet down. This cage protected the camera, no damage to it whatsoever. The only damage visible to the cage is a couple of light scratches where it contacted the steel step. This one definitely deserves a 5-Star rating in every category! I highly recommend this to anyone looking to protect their cameras!

The product is not as pictured!! Instead of getting an aluminum chassis like pictured and in the reviews, I got a cheap plastic knockoff that will likely break if it gets dropped. The door latch is a tiny piece of plastic that will easily sheer off. Plus the door doesn't open easily and it takes some time to get the latch to actually disengage. The instructions are not available when trying to use the single QR code on the piece of paper. There's an extra piece which makes no sense and doesn't fit anywhere. Definitely not what is advertised nor worth the money! This one is getting returned. Stay away from it!
