- For GoPro Hero 13 / 12 / 11 / 10 / 9 Black: The Cage 3084C is an all-in-one full cage which is compatible with microphones, LED lights, providing a perfect Vlog filming solution. It supports lens replacement, and it's compatible with the Max lens mod.
- Cold Shoe Mounts: The top and right sides are equipped with two cold shoe mounts that can be connected to accessories such as microphones and LED lights. Its hollow-carved cold shoe design does not block GPS signal.
- Compatible with Original Baseplate: The bottom contains a foldable mount for GoPro compatible with the original baseplate, and a 1/4 threaded hole can also be directly connected to a tripod BUT2664, magic arm 3873 / 3874 / 3959, crab-shaped clamp 3757B / 4102B, suction cup mount 3565 / 4193.
- Removable EVA Side Plate: The side panel features magnetic EVA to be easily mounted or removed. You can keep the side plate in place without disassembling the original one for better protection of the camera.
- Quick Release Button: The side plate is locked by pressing the cover and released by pushing the button for battery switches and gives access to type-c port.
- Notice: Due to the special surface technology of GoPro Hero12 Black, 3084C may cause slight indentation on the camera body in order to ensure better installation, but it does not affect the use of the device.

Wow, this is one is amazingly tough! I motovlog (film from a motorcycle) and I mount my camera on the windscreen and the rear rack. I’m always very nervous about damaging my cameras or losing them during a road trip. My front camera has taken a beating, but this cage has protected it flawlessly! The cameras fit into them snugly, but there’s just enough room to add a 1/16” thick piece of string through the frame to act as a leash. I’ve got both cameras mounted in one of these cages and I have a piece of string attached from the cage to the motorcycle….so I’m no longer worried about the camera falling off and losing it. I’ve dropped my camera off a tower hunting blind and it hit one of the steel steps 14 feet down. This cage protected the camera, no damage to it whatsoever. The only damage visible to the cage is a couple of light scratches where it contacted the steel step. This one definitely deserves a 5-Star rating in every category! I highly recommend this to anyone looking to protect their cameras!

I have come to love Smallrig products. I have a full cage on my Canon R7 that is awesome. This GoPro cage is no different. The quality and tolerances are amazing. It's very easy to get the camera in and out, and the battery door gives you the option to use USB or not. You can tell how well it's made by how tight it is for the camera to slide in and once you close the door there is no movement. The only thing I need now is a lens cap so I can throw it in a bag without worry. The main reason I got the cage, other than for protection, is that my GoPro Hero 9 Max doesn't have a 1/4" threaded mount on the bottom. I looked to replace the fingers with a set that has the threaded mount, but for nearly $20 it made sense to just get the whole cage that has all of the options. I also may be using my LED light and other cold shoe accessories and this makes it easy.

I've purchased a lot of gear from SmallRig, and it's all designed and manufactured well. However there can be unexpected quirks... This case significantly reduces the pickup of the GoPro internal microphone, to the point it becomes almost unusable. If you're planning to use an external mic, and possess any necessary GoPro adapters, maybe that's not an issue.

Fits gopro 9 & 10. Lots of 1/4-20 (standard tripod) places to fasten flashes etc. Very handy to put a tripod plate on so it works with changing cameras quickly on a tripod. Also, protects the GoPro that, while pretty durable, can be broken. Bad thing: The battery door can fall off pretty easily, but you don't really need to use it since it has a pass thru for USB charging. You may need to use that door to open it to access the microSD card tho. It's black, so you can use a white Sharpie and write on it so there's no mistaking where things are.

Buy it! This may have saved my Gopro! I had my Gopro inside of the SmallRig case that was magnetically attached to my truck. In hindsight I should have used a larger magnetic but the Gopro came off at a speed of 80mph going down a dry lake bed. Luckily I was able to find my Gopro still in the case. Gopro still worked and I was able to continue shooting footage!

Purchased for a gopro hero 12 and the all metal case fits perfect. Have used the case with multiple small rig mounting accessories and found the solid mount point on the case gives me increased confidence with the gopro placements. I have used composite and plastic cases in the past that had mounting screws holes crack or break. If you ate looking for a great case to protect the gopro this is a good option.
