  • Great product that I ended up returning.
Bought this for my Freefly MōVI M5. It is compatible with the M5! (the carbon tubes are the same size as the Ronin M). The ring itself is solid. Everything clicks into place nicely and the parts have a quality feel to them. If you need to rig your stabilizer with a lot of accessories than this is a good solution. I like the multiple options for mounting, and could see myself utilizing the nato rail system for adding accessories quickly. Decided to return this because it’s not going to fit with the style of shooting I need. I need to keep my bags/cases to a minimum, and need to be able to shoot with minimum prep time. The best way to transport this ring (it’s quite large) is to break it down. Building it up for every location is not something I have time to do. The ring also adds a noticeable amount of weight compared to the stock handles. I also do a lot of running with the camera in low mode. This ring makes that difficult, the width prevents me from running with it (my legs hit the sides unless I hold it really far away from my body). If you are adding a lot of stuff to your gimbal (monitor, mics, wireless video, audio, lights) this is a good solution, but you will want to use some kind of counterbalance system (ready rig, easy rig, etc) unless you are super shredded (bro!). ... show more

  • SO much better for me with a couple of accessories.
This makes it so much more flexible on how you can hold it. I can do a handoff to another person easily when I want to do a shot where a person jumps up to a ledge after a handoff. I got the handle, as well as the feet for it. The feet are kinda expensive but well built. I can finally balance it, pick it up and start using it, and set it down anywhere without bringing the tuning stand that it came with. So much more flexible. The only small con is that you can't mount the wireless in the right position, but I hve gotten used to it. ... show more

  • Such a relief
Loving the grip. It is such a relief to not run back and forth to the original stand and place the gimbal. I can just keep it down and it stays there. Wish they included a tiny bubble level as well. It is a little difficult to check if it is placed upright. Apart from that, love all the connectivity on the grip. Surely recommend it ... show more

  • Very sturdy
I’ve had it for a couple Months now, I busted my behind on a skatebord with this while recording and the frame saved my camera and gimbal lol if it had been the original I’d be pretty broke right now, I really like That it still works and wa a barely dented after a 20mph fall

  • Wide and Tall
The Rig is a lot larger than I like. I will be making smaller Carbon Fiber tubes. Best part is the option for accessories and able to set it down during filming.
