  • Functional, reliable device, very easy to use.
Style: Camera Remote Control
At last! An inexpensive, efficient solution to my problem. I do landscape photography and am not interested in doing video, and in the past I have used a wired shutter release. The problem is that when I am using a tripod and an L-bracket (much better than swinging the ball head of the tripod down), there is not enough room for the shutter release to be plugged into the side port of the camera even with the bracket extended. The five-second timer is not a solution, especially if there is wildlife involved, and the Sony app has very unreliable functionality. This is now the fifth device that I've purchased and it does exactly what I want. It is reliable, functional, and is a snap to pair with the camera. Kudos to smallrig. ... show more

  • Perfect desk tripod
Style: Wireless Shooting Grip
I got Sony ZV-e10 mk 2 with the case, same brand, and the hinge holds without a problem. Pairing Bluetooth is easiest I have seen, hold rec and c for a second, and it pops up in my camera to pair. On and off takes 2 seconds for the remote to pair. Remote is held in the handle by a strong magnet. Feel good in hand and stable in tripod mode. I like how it has different locking positions, not a ball bearing (which tends to shift a tiny bit when walking). It can also extend 3 inches, which the Sony version that cost 3 times does not have. ... show more

  • R5 Mark 2 remote controller
Style: Camera Remote Control
I really like this off brand remote. It has the features of the camera recommended by the manufacturer, but is much less expensive. The instructions on how to connect to camera was straight forward. After it's connected you no longer need to reset it up again. I would recommend this product to my family members and friends. ... show more

  • Great! but limited weight cap..
Style: Wireless Shooting Grip
Great alternative to the Sony brand tripod at less than half the price, and has the added bonus of an extension. The remote paired seamlessly with my Sony A6700 and I was able to setup custom functions with the controls. Magnet also holds on very well and fits nicely in the handle. The tripod was very sturdy, and held up my small lens setup well... but once I slapped on a bulkier sigma 17-40mm art lens on it, and the tilt lock couldnt hold it up. Since this couldnt support my mostly used lenses and cam setups, I decided to return this tripod and opt for one that can support more weight. However, I would still highly recommend this item if you have a smaller kit. ... show more

  • This grip falls short of their usual standards.
Style: Wireless Shooting Grip
While SmallRig generally offers excellent products, this grip falls short of their usual standards. The build quality is disappointing, as it feels flimsy and poorly made. Additionally, the remote magloc is weak and unreliable. Its functionality with Canon cameras is also quite limited and does not meet expectations. ... show more

  • great product and works as expected, the power button can interfere with the video button actuation
Style: Camera Remote Control
This is a great remote for my A6700 and overall works as expected with minimal issues, well made and love the double action trigger to focus and then to take the shot, and paired instantly with my A6700. Overall cheaper than the Sony remote, easy to use and is well made. The only con is the on off switch is a weird wing slide switch and it can interfere with the video record button. Otherwise this is a small design flaw I can live with. ... show more

  • Love it!
Style: Camera Remote Control
Very professional, easy to set up, connected in seconds, and I love that you can recharge it. It's less expensive than the canon brand, but works so much better. Buy it today!

  • Canon R10 with the EF-S18-135mm lens with the PZ-E1 power zoom adapter.
Style: Camera Remote Control
I am evaluating several remotes for my Canon R10 with the EF-S18-135mm lens with the PZ-E1 power zoom adapter. This remote does not work for me. I use back button focus and while the remote triggers the focus, it does not trigger the shutter. It does work for video mode. It also does not operate the zoom adapter. So far, a wired remote seems to be the best. It works in all of the camera modes. So far, nothing remotely controls the zoom adapter. So the search continues. Also, it appears the only drive mode that works are the 10/2 second delay timers which is stupid because I don't need the delay with a remote. The one I haven't tried yet is the expensive Canon BR-E1. ... show more
