I’m using this on a Fujifilm X-S20 and will probably get a few more for other cameras as I need them. This thing is great when you’re using a cage that doesn’t have a cable clamp built in. The screw sticks way out and could be a bit more compact but it doesn’t obstruct anything. Super little design!

Got this clamp to make sure my HDMI cable didn’t come undone or damaged while being used. Works well and keeps the cable nice a snug. My only complaint is that sometimes I switch my setup back and forth from Video to Photo on the fly. I have to be cautious about the metal tightener sticking out from the body as I bring my eye to the eyepiece to take a photo since it’s right there. Just something to think about.

Mostly great clamp. At least with the A7III you must remove it each time you want to install or remove the camera body to the cage. It would be great to be able to leave it on the cage since it has front/aft position adjustment that requires a basic amount of fiddling and slows you down in the field. If you really wanted to, you could force the body out of the cage since Sony's hand grip is ever so slightly rubberized, but it is a very tight fit and I would not recommend it. This may be a non-issue on other camera body + cage combinations.

Excelente pieza, sería bueno que abriera un poco más para un agarre tanto de ancho como de alto. En mi jaula para Nikon z 5ii, la tornillería se ajusta para un agarre a lo alto, en mi caso necesito el agarre a lo ancho así que debo hacer otro ajuste, aún así es bastante práctico y muy seguro está pieza para evitar daños al cable o al puerto.

I buy Smallrig products because I consider them to be superior quality and fit. Just troubled by lack of guidance in modifications or maybe more accurately accommodations to make the product fit and usable. As an example, On the cages designed for specific camera bodies, there is not even a terse advice to ‘remove left side camera strap hardware before mounting’ or something similar. Short videos would help. Parts arrive in general in minimal packaging with absolutely no reference guidelines for usage or installation. Not even referral to a help wiki. Great products though even though ‘customer support’ or ‘customer care’ have not yet entered into the manufacturer vocabulary.

Fit perfect. Holds the micro HDMI plug pretty tight. No issues. Fit the SmallRig full cage exactly.

It helped protect the micro HDMI cable on my a7iii but for some reason my hdmi cable still would slip and when I went to tighten the forks, the pin to turn broke. Overall great product but very poor design on how to tighten.
