This is the perfect fit for my Canon R6 Mark II. I love that it comes with a magnetic tool that lets you easily remove it or ensure everything stays tight. I connect a handle, monitor, battery mount, and microphone for video shoots, and this has many connection options. It handles everything with ease. Even without the top handle, I can easily connect a monitor when I am on a tripod filming podcasts or interviews. It is lightweight. I thought I would take it off during extended photo sessions, but because of the design, it doesn't get in my way, and I usually leave it on.

Fit perfect on my R6 Mk II. I don't have many accessories yet but am excited to get some. Solid build. No rattle or movement at all. Looks good. I think this will also provide good protection for my camera.

The Black Mamba cage for the Canon R6 mark II fits amazing. No wiggles or feeling unstable. I like that it has 3 maybe more points of contact so the camera doesn't swivel. I will purchase this again for my other cameras in the future.

I highly recommend this cage. I initially wasn't sure about spending the extra money over the generic SmallRig cage for the R6 Mark II, but I am so glad I opted for the Black Mamba cage. It's incredibly sleek without sacrificing sturdiness, and the fit almost feels like there's no cage at all. It was easy to install with the installation tool that SmallRig always keeps attached magnetically to the bottom of their cages (thank you for this, please keep doing that)-- just the tripod screw and 2 inserts into the strap slots. There's also no annoying crossbar over the grip like virtually every other cage, which allows for easy access to the record button, OFF/LOCK/ON switch, and everything up there. The mounting options are relatively solid, but I do wish the bar on the ports side was also a NATO rail. That's my only complaint, but plenty of options exist for low-profile NATO rails, like SmallRig's, which I use.

Love these cages. Fit my camera bodies beautifully and adds capability and protection. I shoot motorsports and have two bodies on a harness. If I was shooting portraits or studio work, I wouldn't need this. Good ability to add attachments for video, too.
