Bought this a while back as my old-school CD player kept skipping/messing up, and good quality CD players are freaking expensive. Didn't want to blow like $100+ on a premium new CD player, so I decided to modernize and get this MP3 player. Ok, so here's the breakdown: Pros: --Tiny size--about 2x4 inches, and very thin --128GB: holds a TON of music, audiobooks, or whatever --Tanky: metal body, mine's been dropped a few times on concrete and is none the worse for wear --Inexpensive: about $40, way less than the larger, more complicated, or "premium" brand MP3 players out there --Simplicity: simple directional control pad right on the front, easy block letter readout screen, and no overly complex controls to ponder over (very beneficial for old farts like me that didn't grow up with tech like this and are pretty clueless about it) --Sound: sounds great, good audio quality, except for the occasional static burst mentioned below Cons: --Maybe too simple: very little in the way of onboard file management or other in-depth abilities, you have to pull the chip and plug it into a computer to do any real file management--but not a big deal for me --Jumbling: It may just be my lack of tech experience here, but whenever I download music I have to download each album individually into its own individual file, otherwise the player misnames the songs and has a tendency to throw nearly all the songs into a completely random playlist that makes no sense whatsoever --Annoying noise (occasionally): Sometimes when I hit play one channel (usually the left earphone/earbud) blasts an annoying and unpleasant static noise at a deafening volume--and yes, it's definitely the player, not the listening devices or the music albums, as I've had it happen with two different sets of earphones, plus with the included earbuds, and it's happened on different songs from different albums. Thankfully it doesn't happen often though. Well, that's it. Overall it's a good little entry level economy-priced MP3 player. A few irritating quirks, but nothing I can't live with.

Today is Thursday, September 11, 2025, I purchased this MP3 player because my iPod died, I like listening to music when I mow the grass. It takes me about two hours. So I drift away while mowing and listen to music. So let’s get into the review. This is a very nice little MP3 player with 128 GB of storage, the functionality is pretty straightforward, easy to load the files with an SD card adapter you can load it into your computer and simply drag drop. Pros: The Cost $30.00 for an awesome mp3 player. Yet it is pretty easy to use, volume is on the right hand side, on and off is on the left-hand side, you can select from Music e-books, pictures settings, file management, etc. loading files onto your MP3 player is pretty straightforward. Just drag and drop. Cons: my biggest complaint about this player is if you have an artist and you have multiple albums under that artist’s name all the songs go into the parent folder of the artist the albums do not get brought in only the songs come in. However you do have access to all albums, you just don’t know which artist the albums are associated with. So for example if you have six albums with 10 songs in each album under an artist name, you either have all 60 songs under the artist name and you can’t tell which album there associated with. But if you open an album you can filter that way. You can also go to file manager and see the artist and the albums underneath that artist. Otherwise I am very satisfied with the sound quality. It has a built-in EQ where you can pick genres of music I found the jazz genre to have the best bass, I would definitely buy this MP3 player again. There are some out on the market in excess of $100, I didn’t want to spend that much money. I just wanted to be able to listen to music. It was a good purchase. I hope this review helps.

Bought to play audiobooks on. The sound quality is not great and not very loud. Kind of difficult to figure out how to get audiobooks to play. The “speed up” function only works for whatever track you are on currently, same as the bookmark function. So you still have to remember what chapter you are on if you stop listening. Controls are clunky to use. Will not charge except on the one it came with. One good thing I will say is it was easy to put my audiobooks on the SD card since it came with a microsd usb drive.

After using this player for 2 weeks, I think this is the best purchase I have ever made in 2025 for the price. It has everything I need and once you get used to the controls, it is a fairly usable product. A few things, I would suggest that could improve the experience even more 1. Directly navigate the last played song so that you don't have to go through a few clicks 2. Speed scroll. Sometimes with a large number of files, the scroll can take time. 3. Faster fast forward - again, it would help to be able to fast forward at a faster rate with large files

This MP3 Player functions reasonably well, and I've no major complaints other than its Bluetooth connectivity is spotty, and there is no touch screen option (which would make life far easier). Aside from that, this device will meet most users' needs.

Got this for my 87yr old dad who has dementia. It's easy enough for him to use and remember the basic buttons. Great playback and long battery life are a plus! He loves it!
