We are challenging this unit by using it on a screen porch that has vinyl windows and faces west. So though we haven't gotten the whole area cooled yet (we don't run it for super long) we will be keeping this unit. On the dehumidifier setting in the front one can see the current temperature; when it's on the AC it displays the temp of the AC setting. We would have preferred to see the actual room temp all the time. Regardless it works and is surprisingly super quiet. It's like a bit of white noise in the background but not disturbing at all. I was supposed to receive the item the next day. The next day, I received a message saying it would not be delivered for another 4 days. I needed the air conditioner because I live in Florida, and my Home Air conditioner went out. I went and purchased another unit. My refund was approved, but the manufacturer posted a note saying to use the Amazon label and to contact them. The number they give has a recorded message in another language. I really liked this AC, it’s easy to set up. I can do it by myself. It’s easy to move around the house. It’s very hot in Texas here and this AC worked perfect for me. I can put it in my room while relaxing and next to kitchen when cooking. There’s basically no noise at all, won’t be much distraction while working.
