Bought the chair primarily for my son. Also, both me and my wife are using the chair as well. A few notes: 1) Assembly - The chair is relatively easy to assemble. I was a little worried about how hard it would be to assemble, but I put it together fairly quickly. 2) Massaging power - Covers all the bases as far as massage areas. I wish the upper back area was a little stronger, but overall my son is happy and so are we. 3) Comfort - The chair is really comfortable. My son fell asleep the first time he used it. 4) Size - really nice and compact size. Able to fit in a pretty small area of my home office. Overall, we're satisfied. This review is for the "SMAGREHO 2020 New Full Body Electric Zero Gravity Shiatsu Massage Chair". I was attracted to this particular massage chair because of the tan color, it's one of the few that matches my decor. I was also impressed with the price and good reviews. I was a little skeptical that it could be as good as the ones that sell for thousands more but I gave it a shot and glad I did. It was a little challenging to put together because it was hard to see what is in the pics in the instructions. You don't need 2 people, I did it alone, but there is one or 2 places where a second person would come in handy. One of the hardest parts is finding the right air tubes to couple together. It's hard to explain but search and take a good look at all the tubes (some are hidden) and think logically how they should go together. It also helps a lot to get a hair dryer and warm up the tube end for 15-20 seconds, then they push in easily (otherwise extremely hard). And they hold the air pressure right away, no problem. I also saw that some people complained that the shoulder doesn't get massaged and they sit on a pillow. I think that massager is actually for the upper neck, base of head. There doesn't seem to be a massager for the shoulders and in looking at the pictures of these chairs I don't think any of them are designed for that. So I use a portable massager for that part. Otherwise it does a decent job on feet, calves, back, arms, etc. We have been using it every day for months with no problems. Works like a champ! ... show more

My wife begged me for a massage chair after we sat in one at my sister's house. This chair looks similar to my sister's and for a good price, so I bought it for my wife's birthday. She loves it! I sit in it sometimes as well and I definitely feel very relaxed afterward. I like that you can set an auto-programmed massage that does a little bit of everything, or you can focus on one area at a time. Sometimes I like to just set the foot rollers and recline back and relax. The down-side to this chair is that there looks to be a compromise in quality assurance at this price point. For example, one of the foot airbags was not inflating. So I opened it up and found that one of the hoses was pinched during assembly (see photo). I managed to pry the hose out and it is working fine now, but we will see if it lasts long now that the hose is a little thinned out from being pinched. Also, there is a two inch gap between the shoulder area and the arm rests, which looks different from what is pictured in the description. I don't think that there should be that much factory variance. It also gives the feeling that you are reclined too far back, leaving your arms feeling like they have to stretch to fit into the arm rests. This means the bags in the arm rests squeeze your hands more than they do your forearms. The chair was simple to assemble, although the instructions were a bit lacking. I noticed that the instructions did not mention or picture the washers that should be used with the bolts during assembly, but I appreciate that they were included. I was surprised the manual does not mention the bluetooth speaker (unless I missed it) and I forgot about it until I came back to the item description. I tried the speaker out briefly and it sounds decent, but it seems a bit gimicky. I'm sure it has a use for someone. Over all, it's a great chair. I don't think you can do better for the price.
