What a hoot! This machine is great. It's faster than I expected, and amazingly easy to use and even easy to clean. I saw this on deep sale so finally decided to make the purchase and get it. Now I've only made soft-serv ice cream in it so far, but am looking forward to doing shushies when the hot desert summer hits in a month or so. I am impressed with the build quality. It's solid and smooth with no sharp edges or unfinished bits of construction. It was a breeze to set up. I was surprised that such an internally complicated machine was so easy to work with. I spent more time making room on the counter than unboxing and putting together. Ok, I actually spent more time washing the three parts that need to be washed, but really, it's a snap to put together. I started simple, just using commercial soft-serv mix per it's instructions and it was exactly as expected. Soft, creamy, delicious ice cream* in a bowl. My daughter came up and we both enjoyed a bowl of ice cream after lunch and came up with lots of ideas for what to try next. Not to mention the other things it can make. Oh, I'm going to be playing with this a lot from now until winter, and maybe even when it's cold out!0 I got this on sale and probably wouldn't have ever bothered at it's full price, but then I'm pretty cheap. So if You are worried about the cost, You might want to watch for a sale. But honestly, if you like soft-serv and slushies as much as I do, you might not want to wait. I'm pretty sure you won't be disappointed. *-The soft-serv mix isn't technically ice cream, but I'm going to call it that anyway. Purists beware. Google for more info.

This machine would not produce icecream that was of an icecream cone consistancy. The best it would do is milk shake! i worked with the seller and ADJUSTED RECIPES PER THEIR INSTRUCTIONS. PROVIDED PICS AND VIDEO TO THEM AND THEIR RESPONSE: "wE ARE SORRY OUR PRODUCT DID NOT MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS. WE RECOMMEND A REFUND FOR THE PRODUCT!" Based on this response I have to assume that I am not the only one who had this expierence. I would have thought they would have offered to ship another unit. Appearantly they knew that their product would not perform AS ADVERTISED! ON TOP OF EVERYTHING, AMAZON, EMPLOYEES TOLD ME TO NOT BOTHER RETURNING THE ITEM AND THEY WOULD PROCESS A REFUND. AFTER SEVER DAYS HAD GONE BY, I FOLLOWED UP ON THE REFUND AND WAS INFORMED THAT I NOW HAVE TO PAY FOR RETURN SHIPPING, (TO BE REFUNDED AT A LATER DATE), SPEND MORE TIMETO BEND TO THEIR DEMANDS JUST TO GET MY MONEY BACK! We've had this thing for a few weeks now and use it daily, sometimes twice a day! Frappes every morning and sometimes we make either a slush (spiked or not), milkshake or soft serve in the evening, as well! Super easy to clean out by hand and have it ready for the next morning's frappes! This thing has stopped our 23 yr old's obsession with Starbucks, lol. She's moving in with her boyfriend in a couple of months and this is on her list of one of the first things to buy for their new apartment! So easy to use and super fast! Our favorite buy from Amazon so far this year!

Overall good item. Still searching for a soft serve recipe and dialing in settings that work, The consistency has been like a half-melted Frosty—too runny to hold shape, basically useless for any cone.

First time plugging it in and using for Memorial Day and nothing but errors and needs to be sent to manufacturer. Of course I am 6 days past the return date because when I ordered it I was 6 days out from having major surgery and didn’t realize it was only 30 days. I hope the seller or manufacturer does something to make this right

Help!!! I have mastered the slushie but can't get the soft serve right. It's either too thin or it stops the motor because it's too thick. Any advice is appreciated!!! Thanks!
