I purchased this coat ahead of severe weather- temps of -20 with wind chill! When it arrived I was skeptical that it would be warm enough due to the fact that it is lighter than I expected, but it did the trick! I wore it outside at the barn for a couple hours in the frigid temperatures and it kept me nice and warm with minimal layering underneath. I am 5'9", 160lbs. Medium was my recommended size, but it was a bit snug around the chest with a thick sweater, so I sized up to a large, which was perfect. I'm very happy with the sleeve length, which is usually a challenge for me with my long arms. This coat hits right above my knuckles. I do wish the sleeve openings were a little slimmer. They are fairly wide and let in cold air if not paired with heavy gloves. Otherwise, I am very happy with this purchase. As puffer coats go, this one is pretty flattering with its tailored waist detail. Highly recommend!

Ordered both a medium and large, in the cream color, and even though the medium fit nicely, decided a bit more room for wearing sweaters too may be smart. I spent 4 days in NYC in the cold, rain and wind, and this coat kept me very warm and dry and didn’t soil AT ALL, which is amazing! Also, dried very quickly as well. And after my nephew even spilled brown beer on the shoulder and arm in a bar, we got some soda water and wiped it as best we could and the stain disappeared, thankfully! My nephew life got saved from it not staining that night! Lol. I received many compliments, and people loved the soft gray fur-like lining around the neck, which was nice to feel. As many noted before in reviews, the hood is nice and zips off, but HUGE, and when it is on one’s head, it totally covers the face almost. Would be nice for the seller to make the hoods a bit smaller. And, please note… if you receive the hood fur smashed up from shipping or traveling, just use a warm/hot hair dryer and it instantly reverts the fur back to being full and nice looking. All in all, the best part was that I didn’t look like a marshmallow wearing the coat, and I returned back home after a busy trip of wearing it daily, looking like it was still new.

Beautiful coat, I recommend to go 1 size up if your going to wear somthing heavy under it Looks just like the picture, and very warm. A good winter coat for heavy winds and cold. I I'm tall and was kind afraid to order this, but it just fits, and I promise you that you will not regret it at all.

This is a fantastic coat, because the way the sides are tailored is very flattering versus looking like you’re just wearing a giant down comforter. Despite it slim fit, it is very effective against the cold even at temperatures below 20° I would definitely recommend this coat over much more expensive ones like J.Crew and Columbia!

Aw, man. This jacket is high-quality, silver buttons and zippers, gorgeous deep blue. Super warm. The hood is stunning, and the faux fur is soft and shiny. Beautiful quality. BUT ... it is too massive for my figure!!! For context, I am 5'4" (1.62m), 110 lbs (50 kg), small-boned. I got a S, as that is my normal sizing in coats (also allowing for extra layering underneath). Unfortunately, this jacket is so massive that I won't even bother getting an XS, because I know that won't fit either. It looks baggy and silly on me. What a shame! I will be returning.

The coat is very warm. It has been cold here, in OH 20° Windproof so far. The sleeves are very long which I like because I am 5'10 194 lbs. They come right down to my wrist. Even though according to their size chart, I could wear an XL but I ordered the XXL. Which fits perfectly with a sweater comfortably. All of my coats are a sz 2X no matter who makes them. Mostly because a 2X gives me that added length.So far so good.

I rarely write reviews, but after the winter storms and cold snap that we recently had I realized that I wanted people to know what a wonderful coat this is. It kept me warm in temperatures down to -15 below 0 for the times that I needed to be outside on a normal day...walking the dog, getting the mail, shopping. It also has kept me dry during wintery mixes of rain/snow conditions; rain has dripped right off of it. The "fur" collar is soft and comfortable and brings relief against bitter winds. I was disappointed that the coat did not have an internal cell phone pocket at the chest, but the hand pockets are roomy enough for a cell phone, gloves, and ear muffs, so I have not really noticed the lack of an upper pocket. Each time I have caught my reflection in a mirror while wearing this coat, I have been pleased with what I have seen. I am glad that I made this purchase.
