I have purchased many winter coats. I return them for a number of reasons. THIS Coat has it all-- price, fit, color, usage, warmth, versatility, quality. The fit is structured with a silhouette that includes a nice cut at the waist, while still allowing comfort and movement. It zips from top and bottom to open the hip when sitting. Hood is helpful in weather. Overall the scale of length and width is spot on. All the colors are versatile. I went with the army green and love it. Usage is across the board. I work in a very high end design/build ...office/onsite and its a great coat for in and out, meetings...in front of any clients or employees. At work I pair with a nice boot and fitted black pants and a scarf. But also to grocery/errands with leggings or sports events ...date night or coffeeshop. It's warm, but also not sweltering. It's lightweight, but somehow always just right. I get endless complements. Quality is exceptional for the price. I love the minimalism and the little orange S logo on the left wrist. I'd recommend this to everyone. Slow Down brand hits a home run. And yes, I will be purchasing other colors. Even my husband said, get another one. Overall A+.

I was looking for a packable coat that was lightweight, warm and comfortable for a trip to Scotland during this last winter. I previously purchased 2 coats then returned them because they just didn't look and feel right. This coat was my final attempt. When it arrived, I was skeptical at its ability to keep me warm because it was thin, but I didn't have time to return it and get another one before I left. Wow! Was I surprised! It was everything I had hoped for in a light weight, waterproof and packable coat. I've already sent it through the wash, and it came out great!

I was looking for a warm coat that isn’t too bulky and this perfectly fit the bill. I do worry a little about the zipper which isn’t the smoothest and sometimes I struggle to zip it. But overall given how light weight it is, I’ve been impressed when the warmth. Have worn it with a sweatshirt underneath during the recent arctic chill and snow storms without a problem. Love the length. I sized up so I could fit another layer underneath and that was a good choice.

This coat fit well and looked nice, but there was very little down filling compared to other "packable" down jackets I've purchased. In fact, several of the quilted pockets felt like they had no down filling at all. I now live in a warmer climate than I used to, but it still won't be warm enough. It's basically a thin nylon shell. I'm sending it back.

I bought this in grey and love it! I did go up a size only because I like things loose on me. It's very light weight, but still warner enough for the colder days. It's comfortable and long to cover all areas that need to be warm. Well worth the purchase!

This coat is just OK. It’s VERY thin and far from warm. I would rate it as a spring or fall coat. It is good for traveling when you have drastic weather changes. But not really for Michigan winters. I do like the weightlessness as I have back problems and it is easy to get off and on. But not at all the warm.

I don't really do reviews but this is my second order. I ordered this jacket for its lightweight and easyy to carry and it says 2 bag. I liked for work due to the fact that I work long hours and the weather's Change from morning to the evening. My jacket arrived and I really like the jacket and it fit really cute on me, but it did not come with the 2 bags as mentioned. That was disappointing because that was the reason I ordered it. Sent for a replacement and the same thing with the replacement.

I ordered 2 jackets to choose from to take on a trip to a cold weather environment. It was a tough choice but I chose the other as this fit a little too large (I'm 5'6", with a boyish figure, I ordered a small - for me it was a little too wide on the hips and a little too long-came just above my knees) also I would have preferred a detachable hood. Aside from this it is a great price, I love the little travel bag that comes with it and its perfect and lightweight, but keeps you warm and great to add some layers under it.
