I have had a couple of blow dryers that have been almost exactly this style, but this is my first from this company. I am pleased to say that this one performs just as well as the others, it's not going to give you the performance of an extremely more expensive brand, but it does a great job. Pros: it comes with the diffuser and focus adapters as well as a velcro strap to contain the cord. Cons: The velcro strap detached the first time I went to secure it around the cord. The adapters are a little confusing to attach due to the placement of the notches you line up. It's very particular. Also, the handle gets very hot around the setting button. I wasn't sure what to expect as I've always used inexpensive blow dryers. This thing has a lot of power compared to any I've used before! I use only the low setting with the diffuser for my waves. If I want straight hair, I use the high setting and I'm done in less time than ever before. Either way, my hair doesn't seem as frizzy, so I guess the ionic feature actually works! First, I’ll just say I don’t know what 10 pound blow dryers others have been using to call this one lightweight, but this is heavier than any standard hair dryer I’ve ever used! So if you’re really looking for something LIGHTweight, this falls short. That said, it’s definitely quieter than your standard dryer, not by a LOT, but enough that you notice it. The high setting works great, dries quicker than others, and I have very heavy hair. Doesn’t get overly hot. But there’s not a significant difference between the low setting and the rest. It’s either low, or really HIGH. So for those who like a nice in between, you might not love this. The nozzles fit well and stay in place, so that’s a plus, but (another but), in order to get a secure fit by tightening it all the way, there’s no way to adjust the direction of the nozzle attachments without just loosening their fit. So for truly directed air flow, prepare to become a bit of a contortionist. I like the handle size and ease of holding it, but again, the nozzles only have two fits; all the way tightened, and one angle when they’re completely screwed on. The handle length does make it a bit easier to position the dryer the way you want the airflow to go, but it could be far easier if designed a bit differently. I’m guessing if you loosened them, the risk of them being forced off by the air flow is pretty good. I can only give this 3 stars due to the “cons”, though overall, this isn’t a bad dryer. I’ll look to replace it at some point with something that’s lighter weight and more adjustable attachments, but it’s an ok dryer for now. ... show more
