I should have left it outside for a week before putting it in my tub, because the smell was so strong it made me want to never use my master bathroom that entire week. I first looked at roll on options, but decided when I read that they wear off (some reviewers said that it happended rather quickly), I decided on a rubber mat instead. Although the color on the website did not match what arrived (was browner than the beige sample), I still gave this product 5 stars. This mat checked every box for me. It doesn't slide when you first lay it down. Instead as you step on it, the big suction cups flatten themselves. Not lumps to stand on. Nice traction without feeling rough on your feet. love the huge choice of colors.
