I bought an earlier version of this product several years ago and it works great. I recently bought a 2nd one for another car to carry in the trunk for emergencies. It works great like its older brother. The pump plugs into the 12v outlet, its cord is long enough to reach all 4 tires. It has a bright LED lamp that turns on when plugged in, no on/off switch. My units have a digital readout, you set the pump pressure, connect the pump to the tire nozzle, turn on the pump. If it runs more than 5 minutes, I stop it and let it rest for a couple minutes. I can't speak for other people. But this product is a piece of junk in my opinion. I've plugged it in several times and followed the instructions down to the tee. I am trying to inflate my car tires. I couldn't even get it to turn on. I tried tonight for the 3rd day in a row. It still didn't work. I'm just going to take the car to the tire shop tomorrow and let them check the tires.
