They’re a simple clean functional desk with a lot of room. The steel is a real thin gauge but once put together the overall desk is sturdy enough. I like that the shorter section can be installed on either end. My only complaint, which is getting nit picky, is at the price it’s at I feel like they could’ve added a little more for cable management. There’s 3 grommets per desk which is great, but nothing to help hold cables under the desk. The size and shape are perfect for my needs, comfortably fitting 3 monitors, speakers, a keyboard/mouse, drawing tablet, sound mixer, Surface and two lamps. The straight legs allow for a lot of space for my PC and subwoofer to sit underneath it. The way the metal frame and particle board connect gives just enough space to put zip ties through it, which I've used to attach an LED light strip, could also be good for cable management. Now for the negative part of the review. The particle board arrived with some minor scratches on one piece and a dent on another. One of the metal leg brackets had a dent as well, which slightly warped its shape. I was worried I was going to have to send it back but I was still able to put it together and the desk is stable despite the damage. The packaging could use work; more Styrofoam surrounding the pieces if nothing else. Last complaint is that some of the holes through which you need to screw in bolts don't line up properly. It's stable despite that but it's poor quality control. I feel this desk shouldn't cost $130, but I needed a desk and didn't want to mess with returns since I can make this work. The desk's larger top had two surface cracks spanning roughly halfway across the surface. (It reveals the particle board interior and looks extremely cheap. (it is.)) I was expecting the desk to be at least dented possibly broken, but there wasn’t a scratch on anything when I inspected each piece. I feel like everyone’s issues might be with the shipping company damaging the pieces and I happened to be lucky. Installation was incredibly easy and came with everything needed, I put it together by myself in 30 min. I got the version of white legs and light wood top, I think it looks alright in my office of mostly white furniture and it gives me a lot of room to work on. The top is thicker than I expected which is good, the metal legs are very light and feel like they could be dented easily or damaged with a lot of weight, but it’s not going to be a problem for me. It’s not the sleekest or nicest looking desk, just simple. I would not recommend for a high-brow setting, but it works in my small casual office, would also work as a gaming table or any craft table that didn’t involve anything too heavy or anything with tools that can scratch it. I read you should definitely use a coaster for drinks so I’ll be mindful of that. I would say the price should be lower for the look and quality, especially with the big risk in shipping damage, but I don’t regret my purchase.;;Reviewed in the United States on April 21, 2020;;4.0 out of 5 stars;;Pleasantly surprised;;JR;;;The SHW Corner Desk is well-designed, made with quality materials, easy to assemble. In fact, the assembly instructions are concise, logical and useful - not a given when you buy furniture that requires assembly. The desk has large and deep (23.8 inches deep) work surfaces on both leaves with three handy cable pass-throughs. The frame is very sturdy powder-coated steel tubing. All the pieces fit together perfectly and make the desk easy to assemble. One big bonus is the flexibility to attach the side leaf facing left or right. The frame allows to assemble this desk in two directions which makes it easy to fit your work space. All six legs have height-adjustable feet allowing for perfect leveling of this desk even on slightly uneven floors. Overall, I am very impressed by the sturdiness of this desk, the workmanship (everything fits and lines up) and the flexibility to invert the desk layout to fit your space. The price is right for this nice corner desk. I was looking for a corner desk with a large and deep work surface - this one fits the bill!
