I love it!! I popped open my locks before because I left my keys inside and ever since anybody could just slide open my window which is very dangerous just bought these and installed them it is a little challenging but I used all my force to screw it on now it can’t even open at all but for those who don’t want to reapply them it’s best if you just get your window repaired because it’ll take lots of effort to reinstall after opening it unless you just want it open a few inches. Very satisfied with my purchase I feel much safer

Good idea, but they don't work very easy on sliding glass doors. It is hard to get on the track and even harder to get down on your hand & knees to tighten the screw to secure it to the track. I went back to using a rod in the track.

Installing them was easy, just make sure to tighten them so you aren’t able to slide them up/down on the window. Tightening them enough was a little challenging, took some strength but otherwise easy. These fit the track along our old aluminum windows which are pretty thin. So if you have a window with a thicker track, maybe measure before buying? All in all, I feel much safer with these.

Was unable to use due to design. Might work on a sliding door, or a window with just the right dimensions of rail. Very thin; seemed like they might bend when installing, but couldn't verify this one way or the other since they didn't fit (too big to allow screws to reach the rail they're supposed to be clamping down on).
