I had to put these on so my 4 year old couldn't open the window they work very well and are not easy to pull off. Tighten them pretty tightly. And u'll be good. Material is good. Size it small enough but big enough were u can't notice it. Doesn't weigh much.

The media could not be loaded. We bought these to limit the opening of our windows because we have young kids. It might be a little “overkill” as I do not think my kids will open a window and jump out but it is always better to be safe than sorry. Use: It does a great job of what it is supposed to do. The black rubber prevents scratching the surface of the window. It took us less than a minute to install them. It is so easy, it can even be done with one hand (see my video) Pro(s): - Very easy install - The grip is tight and does not easily come off Con(s): - Does not look the best - Although the black rubber prevents scratches on the front facing surface of the window frame, it does not prevent scratches on the side of the sliding window Tip(s): - If you leave a little rubber extended of where the sliding window will be hitting this stopper, it will help cushion it and prevent scratches ... show more

I ran into a problem with the lock not fitting onto window frame. I installed them on two window from different manufacturers. One fit perfectly and one would not fit on the window. I got it to fit by cutting one side of the rubber gasket off to make it fit.

They were very easy to install and my windows don't budge at all. Once I have the time and extra funds to replace the window locks I will but these are a perfect solution in the meantime. These are perfect. They were too narrow for my windows but I just took out the rubber piece. I was able to put the screws on the inside to make it look nicer and so the kids can’t take them off.
