First off, I've always thought I liked big, soft pillows. Little did i know that it was NOT what my body needed! I am a back and side sleeper. No matter what brand/thickness/firmness I got, I ALWAYS woke up with neck pain and my chin on my chest. I have spent countless funds on pillows, only to be disappointed! Until this one!!! Upon opening, I noticed how unbelievably soft and squishy it was and that it was customizable (3 pillows in 1). Night 1, thinking because it's so soft, I used both inserts. Fast forward to morning and my neck was somewhat better, but still had my chin on my chest! Ugh!!! Night 2, I used just the medium pillow. My neck was better than the previous morning but still not perfect. As a last ditch effort, and I have NEVER slept on a flat pillow in my life, I used the small insert only. It almost felt like I wasn't even using a pillow at all! I wasn't looking forward to sleeping that night and didn't have any hope of a good night sleep. Boy was I wrong!!! Never, and I mean NEVER, would I have thought a pancake of a pillow would be so heavenly!!! For the first time ever, I woke up without my head jacked up!!! No more neck pain and better sleep! WHAAAAAT?!?!?! I love how I can pull it further down, because it's so squishy, and it forms around my neck and shoulders! I don't feel like it's thick enough when I'm on my side, but it's easy to fix by folding the corner under. I even took the medium insert that I'm not using and gave it to my 4 year old. He loves, loves, loves it!!! My husband keeps trying to steal my pillow and has been threatened with his life if it goes missing! Haha! Guess I will be getting another one for him as well! If you already like a soft pillow, you really have nothing to lose! It's a $ back guarantee!!! UPDATE.....Now, my husband has hijacked my pillow!!!! First off, he has always liked big, thick, firmer pillows. Anyways, he slept on it the first night with both inserts and said it was just a little too much. Night 2, I removed the thin insert and he was SOLD!!!! He said he slept like a baby!!! Guess I'm off to buy another pillow so that I can have mine back and be able to sleep again!!! ... show more

    • Good but hard to maintain loft

I've had this pillow for about 7 months. This pillow is soft, supportive and comfortable, but keeping it that way can be a pain. I love that it has multiple inserts. After a few nights of sleeping on the Sleepgram I found it would go flat or the stuffing would shift away from my head. Fluffing it in the dryer fixes the issue, but doing this every few days grew to be annoying. It's hard to explain, this pillow is supportive but can somehow be flimsy at the same time. The Sleepgram is still one of the better pillows I've tried, and I've tried a lot. It has somewhat helped with my neck pain. I currently have one of the inserts inside a similar, sturdier pillow and it is lovely. Definitely worth a try. ... show more

This pillow does not deliver to promise. I am looking through the reviews and I am mystified, I do not deny these people their opinion however in trying to understand it I can find no reason or rime to it. For me I can tell you that the only thing I’m influenced by in writing this review is that I spent $120.oo on pillows that suck. Do not buy this pillow. I grew up in Ireland in the 80’s we were really poor, the pillows we had were basically sacks containing lumps of foam or feathers that your head would go right through and you’d have to bunch up to get any support out of. The Sleepgram pillow made me miss those pillows. So let’s make a qualitative analysis based on what specific features that one might look for in a pillow. Does it stay cool? No I lay on it for less than a minute before my head started to get hot… during winter in New England. So like they are lying to you when they say the pillow is cool its not it does not breathe like a normal pillow, the material is too dense. Is it light and does it move easily with you while you sleep? No its like a sack of concrete compared to all other pillows in my house, it’s very heavy. Is it soft? It is the opposite of soft, it is rock hard. As mention above its like sleeping on a concrete sack, not a sand bag mind you there is some pliancy to a sandbag this is definitely the consistency of concrete that’s been exposed to some water and has started to harden and stiffen. Does it allow your neck to remain straight during sleep? No my head was cocked badly to one side. Despite all other concerns is it just comfortable anyway? So this pillow, if you sleep with your arm under your head is ACTUALLY DANGEROUS to sleep on, within two minutes my hand started to tingle with the weight of my head and the pillow on my arm, at about five minutes I could no longer feel my hand. I had to get up and find an alternate pillow. Pillows are supposed to be light and springy and allow you to rest while supporting your posture, this pillow does none of that. I cannot say enough how on every level this pillow is terrible. DO NOT BUY THIS PILLOW. I am a real person I can verify this I have no interest in the success or failure of Sleepgram except that their product is a lie and I feel duped by it. Sleepgram should be ashamed of itself for putting this abomination on the market for decent people to lose sleep with. ... show more
