I bought this because our king mattress is very firm since my husband is a stomach sleeper and needs a firm bed, but I am a back sleeper. It is not ideal for me to sleep on a firm mattress since it causes back pain. I wanted to feel like my back was supported and like I was on a cushy cloud and this topper did exactly that! I am very happy with the way this memory foam is designed. The wavy memory foam gives it height and keeps me cool. The soft cover is a nice addition as well, giving me more cushion that cradles me as I sleep. The twin size topper takes up half of our king bed and it does add 4” of height to my side of the bed, but the sheets still fit over both the memory foam and the cover as well as our mattress. It also is a bit short in length compared to the king, so I just put a pillow between the headboard and the topper to fill the gap. So far this hasn’t been an issue at all when sleeping. The only dislike is the smell. It’s been over a week and the smell of the memory foam still lingers, but this happened with our guest bed memory foam mattress and it went away after a while. I hope that’s what happens with this topper. I also noticed a small dirt spot on the cover but I threw it in the washer and dryer and it washed out just fine and even stayed fluffy. Overall, I am very pleased and have less pain when waking up in the morning! It’s so comfortable to me that I have a hard time not snoozing my alarm in the morning!! I looked at alot of toppers and took a chance on this one. I was attracted to the 10 year warranty. It took about 1 month to get ordered due to supply issues, but once it was available , I got it in 2 days. This topper was worth waiting on!!!! Due to unexpected circumstances, I had to move a bed downstairs which has a ancient mattress that's ROCK hard. This topper made the bed almost heavenly to sleep on. I was desperate to find a mattress topper that had a memory element as well as a pillow top element. This mattress topper comes in 2 components, the memory foam and the pillow top. The memory foam gave me the additional support I was looking for whereas the pillow top makes my bed feel like a hotel mattress. The pillow top has very deep pockets and it stays on my mattress. We were going to invest in better mattresses for our 2 kids but went for this as a cost effective option. They both slept in the next day beyond their regular waking hours. This is huge as we all know that young kids require extra hours of sleep for their brain development. All we have to do now is put them to bed earlier to adjust the sleep hours. I tried the mattress myself and loved how it felt. You sink right in, but feel supported at the same time. This is a great product and hopefully remains this way for a long time. On bed with egg-crate side up. Son has used it several years that way and loves it. Put egg crate side up on 2 other beds. Reviews mentioned topper having bed bugs so got special enclosed cover for it, 6" high.

    • My mattress feels WORSE and seller won't answer my messages
I hoped that a topper might improve the quality of my older but still decent mattress, but it actually made it worse -- far too soft and unsupportive! I feel like I'm sinking, and it's actually difficult to even roll over. I emailed the company immediately to invoke their 'hassle-free return' but they do not respond. I'm convinced they're trying to run out the warranty period so I'm stuck with this useless item. Do NOT choose this if you want a supportive sleep system.
