FINALLY, a comfortable pillow that holds its shape
Size: Standard
I used to literally go through 2-3 pillows a year, trying to find one that would work for my screwed-up neck (I've had whiplash multiple times) and that would hold its initial fullness. I have tried the $100 Isotonic pillow (didn't like the bump that forces you to have your neck perfectly straight, plus it softened out), gusseted pillows that still broke down in the middle, cheaper foam pillows, firm pillows, soft pillows, etc. My neck ALWAYS hurt, and even if one of those pillows helped for a little while, they always broke down and I'd start tossing and turning and getting a stiff neck and shoulders every morning. I bought this Sleep Innovations memory foam pillow a little less than a year ago and I still LOVE it. It's firmer on one side than the other, so if you're a back or stomach sleeper you can use the softer side, and if you're a side sleeper, you can use the firmer side. But it also actually feels thicker on the firmer side, if that makes sense. If I put it on the bed the wrong way, I immediately notice that it's not full enough when I am on my side. Flip it over and it's perfect. I get exceptional support that is soooo comfortable. What I especially like about this pillow is that it's firm enough with hurting my ears! I guess I press my head hard into my pillow, and any other pillow that I've used that is firm enough to hold its shape without compressing too much would actually hurt my ears. I'd have to use a softer pillow and put a folded towel beneath it to make it thicker. I have never had to do that with this pillow, and while it's softened up a bit over the past year, I just need to fluff it before bed and I'm good for the night. I also sleep with better posture and am not contorting my neck or shoulders trying to get comfortable. I do a LOT less tossing and turning with this pillow (I also have a Sleep Innovations memory foam mattress with the gel layer and would highly recommend it!) I only wish they made it in a king size. I take this pillow with me everywhere we travel by car, even for just an overnight stay. And I'm certain it's a big reason I rarely have to go to the chiropractor for my neck anymore, after having to go 2-3x/month for nearly 20 years. (I think I have been 4 times total this year, which is amazing.) I finally convinced my husband, who's had neck surgery, to try it out, and after maybe 5 seconds of lying on it, he immediately said, "Yes, get me one." His pillow had completely flattened out. If I could afford to buy one for every family member at once, I would! Truly the best pillow I have ever used!! ... show more

Pillow of My Dreams
Size: Standard
I am a light and restless sleeper. Although I have tried a wide array of pillows including down, down alternative, foam, memory foam, gel, buckwheat, and water, none has been satisfactory in terms of comfort or durability. Until this one. Mixing the comfort of fiberfill with the support of memory foam, it truly features the best of both worlds. It is higher than most but for the first time in a long time, I've enjoyed good, uninterrupted sleep. I change positions frequently throughout the night and this pillow accommodates them. The foam insert can be removed so you can wash the fiberfill and cover. The foam is allergen resistant and mite proof. Manufactured in the USA, it comes with a generous five year warranty. I did air the pillow for a day before use even though I did not notice any odor. If you have become accustomed to flat, soft pillows, it may take a period of adjustment to fully appreciate this one. After years of tossing and turning, I can finally say I have found the pillow of my dreams. Recommended. ... show more

So close to my fav pillow of all time
Size: Standard
I bought this pillow to replace my favorite "SleepBetter" pillow that was from jcpenny in like 2011. It is so comfortable and nearly feels the same. I sleep good on it and I love the dual sided feature. It's great because if I want a more plush feel I can flip it over. It would be 5 stars if it was the exact same pillow, but this was the closest thing I could find to the OG and it matches up pretty good ... show more

Some changes . . . Not necessarily for the worst
Size: Standard
So got my new pillow. Ive had this pillow for probably a decade. I first bought it at Costco. It was such an amazing experience sleeping on that. 5/5 stars. I rebought it years later on amazon and it wasn’t as comfortable as the original but still ended up loving it. This new version of the pillow is interesting. Definitely different. Superficially, doesn’t have the name sleep innovations on it, a change from all previous models. Makes you wonder if it even is. The memory foam is now “cooling”memory foam, the blue kind you see. The old foam was the standard cream colored memory foam which was much denser. This new one feels fluffier but seems to compress easier than the old memory foam. So this foam kind of feels nicer when you first sink in to it actually i’ll say. But harder and not as cradling once you get situated. Thats the problem- i’m feeling pressure points on my neck while the old one jut cradles. My other one just feels so much nicer, despite the pillow being a wreck. Im going to give this one some time and break it in and maybe update my review, but as of now i think their change of memory foam was a bad move - maybe trying to stand out with the “cooling” kind but its just not as quality of foam. There’s no arguing this point. The old memory foam is higher quality- i’m feeling both side by side. The ironic thing is- the old standard memory foam is just as cool and actually seems to stay cooler after laying on it a while than this cooling memory foam. Overall, I wish they’d leave a good recipe alone. We’ll see how this goes ... show more
