After trying a few cleaver i didnt had much expectation but did this one surprised me! Nice thick spine, good balance, good sharpness out of the box, smooth polished handle, blade didnt chip like others did( i use it to chop coconut, hard ones and soft ones) . Overall above expectation cleaver for the price. Now i am worried how will sharpen it when it gets dull lol ... show more

This is thinner than I expected, and lighter. Not full tang, if that matters to you. I wanted a full force axe type of cleaver, and this isn't quite that. Still, the blade is sharp and works fine for lighter duty tasks. I recommend this cleaver for light to medium duty, knowing that it is not a heavy blade or full tang. ... show more

This cleaver knife is very easy to use, sharp, attractive looking, and not too heavy on my older hands. I'm not a knife connoisseur by any means, but I wanted to purchase a good knife that could be used for multiple food prepping needs. I've used it to chop, slice, cut meat, vegetables, and to flatten garlic (several at a time) without any problem. The knife is so sharp that it will slice through bacon with ease.
