I did my research on a good Straightener for long thick hair, and this is the one I came to, the reviews helped me and I just straightened my hair for the first time with the Sleeke 2" and WOW 👌🏼 this straightened my hair in HALF THE TIME of my other straightener so in 15 mins i straightened my hair which is insane!! Seriously if your in the market for a new straightener and you have long thick hair THIS IS THE ONE YOU NEED. I almost bought the dyson corale straightener but once i saw the reviews and saw it snagged hair i said NOPE, the Sleeke glides over your hair so smoothly its amazing and also VERY quick heat up! My first flat iron was a Chi and it lasted ten years. It was amazing. I then tried a newer Chi and it was not close to the same quality as the original irons. It felt cheaply made, was uncomfortable to hold, and it snagged my hair even when the grip was loose. I then bought an Izutech brand flat iron, and it did an ok job, but the handle eventually broke apart and it began pinching my fingers when I used it, and the temperature control stopped working properly, so I had no sure way to tell how hot the temp was being applied to my hair. I was so overwhelmed as there are hundreds of brands and styles of flat irons now. After reading reviews for several hours, I decided to take a chance on this one, and I’m so glad I did. The rubberized grip is so comfortable when using, I left for the temperature buttons are, and it glass, so smooth way through my hair without breaking it off or snagging the ends. It also isn’t so heavy that it fatigues my arm. I am so happy with this purchase and highly recommend this item!
