  • Overall, a good gaming pc
Style: 3600 | 2060
This gaming pc is actually good. To be completely honest, I was skeptical to get a gaming prebuilt. Especially since Skytech wasn't an OEM brand like HP or Lenovo. Skytech didn't seem like a trusted brand. Fortunately, I was dead wrong. The pc came in good packaging. There was no dead gpu, no exploding psu, no crashes while gaming; nothing defective in general. The setup is easy and windows 10 is actually activated, unlike other prebuilts. Air cooling is decent, when gaming at ultra settings the temperatures are 70-75 degrees on the GPU and 35-50 degrees on the CPU. This gaming pc also has smooth frame rate, most of my games on ultra/ high settings achieve pass 144 fps and some high demanding games achieve more than 100 fps on ultra/ high settings. Overall, it's a good prebuilt. The only cons of this gaming prebuilt is the wifi antenna that came with this pc. Those make your connection slower than what your actual wifi speeds are, if that makes sense. To give you an idea, let's say my wifi speed is 80 mbps and with these antennas, my wifi speed becomes 4 mbps on my pc. I was able to make it a bit faster somehow. Since the pc came with 2 wifi antennas, I switched antennas and the second antenna made my wifi speeds a bit faster on my pc (but not by a lot though). The only solution for this is to either do what I just did or get a better wifi adapter. Other cons is that the fans are loud. It doesn't bother me since I just use a headset. Just a heads up for those purchasing. If anyone is skeptical about Skytech prebuilts, all I got to say is just go for it. They're legit and and the pc does it's job as intended. Only problem are those wifi antennas that comes included. Other than that, so far so good. I will also give an update 1 month later to see if it actually lasts. Update: It's been more than 1 month and the PC still works and have not experience any defective components. Still runs like brand new. Highly recommend this PC. Those wifi antennas still suck though. Hopefully this PC can last me for years. ... show more

  • Great PC
Style: 5600X | 3070
I have had nothing but good things to say about this PC over the month or so I have had it. This PC has no problem running first person shooters, or games like Minecraft on max settings with mods/ shaders. I have had no issues running discord or spotify behind my games while maintaining an exceptional gaming experience. I did not utilize tech support for the simple fact that I did not need it; Set up is straight forward and any instructions you need are given in the package. Speaking on packaging, I was impressed by how well the PC was protected for shipping. I was skeptical about buying a PC online with the worry I would receive a damaged product after spending my time and money waiting for it. However, this was not the case. I was very pleased to pull my PC out and find it didn't have so much as a scratch on it and that it booted up wonderfully. All RGB lighting setup is incredibly easy; I could customize the front fans separately from the inner one to have multiple colors inside my PC. Not only does this PC perform wonderfully with anything I throw at it, but it also looks amazing doing it. ... show more

The first product we received was defective. We purchased a second product and Amazon won't honor tje price difference. They also wouldn't replace the item. I would steer clear. Defective out of the box and they won't support.

  • Well-Built and Impressive PC - Good value for money
Style: 5600X | 3060 Ti
Warning: this will be a long review but very informative if you’re considering buying this PC. So I’ve had this PC for about 2 weeks. Granted, this isn’t a ton of time to know if parts will fail, but it’s been solid so far. PC was extremely well packaged with no damage on arrival. Upon opening up the case, everything was installed correctly and the cable management was immaculate. Very well organized in the front and back of the case with good use of zip ties and everything. Don’t think I could have done it better myself. I couldn’t find any reviews specifying the exact components of the PC, so I wanted to list what came with mine so others know what they’re buying and have something to compare to. -CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600x -GPU: EVGA 3060ti 8gb XC (this is the smaller 2 fan card compared to some other 3060ti’s with 3 fans, but its performance is about the same) -Motherboard: MSI 550M Pro-VDH Micro Atx AM4 -SSD: Western Digital Blue SN550 1TB NVME -RAM: Geil Evo Potenza 2x8gb 3200 16CL -PSU: Gamdias 600w Helios 80+ Gold -CASE: Metallic Gear Neo Air ATX white -CPU Cooler: AMD Wraith Prism RGB cooler -Accessories: comes with a PCie wifi adapter with 2 antenna, 3 rgb fans (2 intake, 1 exhaust), and windows 10 pre installed on the 1TB ssd. At the time of writing this review (June 17th, 2022), if you were to buy all these parts individually from Amazon it would cost around $1250 before tax. This is not counting windows 10, as some people may or may not include that in the price of a build. If you buy a legit Win 10 key then that’s an extra $110, bringing the total up to $1360 before tax. Considering the price of this PC is currently $1400, you’re basically getting everything very close to MSRP, with a $40-150 up-charge depending on how you look at it. That seems very reasonable to me, as Skytech has to be compensated for their time and effort to build the PC and package everything, and you have to consider the price of your time if you were to build a PC instead. Plus you get a 1 year warranty from Skytech if any parts break or you get technical difficulties. The only parts I was skeptical of were the PSU because Gamdias is not known for high quality parts, and the RAM because it looks kinda ugly. However, all RAM is basically the same because it’s made by 1-2 companies and then rebranded, so it doesn’t matter much. Also, the CPU cooler looks really nice and the RGB feature is awesome, but it’s not the best CPU cooler around. It’s good enough, but if you plan to have extended gaming sessions in high quality graphics (1440p) or want to keep your CPU temps down, then you’ll have to upgrade the CPU cooler to something of your choice. If you game in 1080p or don’t play very demanding AAA games, then the cooler it comes with is perfectly fine. So, I would recommend upgrading the PSU and the CPU cooler if you get what I have. As far as performance goes, I’ve been very satisfied. Everything I’ve played has been on a 1440p 165hz monitor. Battlefield 5 gets 140-150fps, Witcher 3 160fps, League of Legends 300fps, Heroes of the storm 300+ FPS. This has all been on high or max graphics settings. Obviously if you run a 1080p monitor or a lower refresh rate you’ll get even better FPS. I also do some video recording and editing, and have had no issues with that. Overall, I would definitely recommend this PC to people who are looking for a nice quality set up and don’t want to deal with the hassle of building one. You could plug this in and start gaming within 10-15 minutes with the peace of mind that it was built with care. Even if you’ve built a PC before, the value of this build and overall quality of parts is pretty good. Sure, you may have to upgrade a couple parts like the PSU and CPU cooler, but you could sell the ones that come stock with this build to get some cash back and end up paying not more than $50-100 to upgrade that stuff. Overall I would rate this pc at a 9 or 9.5 out of 10. ... show more
