  • Love it so much, we got a second one.
Size: 3600 | 3060 Ti
I bought this computer three years ago to replace an old gaming laptop that was starting to lag with newer games. All of my games ran perfectly on the new system. Photo stacking software compiles hundreds of raw images in minutes, Photoshop runs smooth. The only part to wear out was the case fans. The first one was right at the 12 month mark and Skytech replaced it for free without any hassle. I've since added 2 one TB SSD drives in a RAID 1 array to supplement the M.2 drive for all my photo editing. I'm about to update to a 12 core processor and liquid cooling system, and there is plenty of room, easy access, cable management, and more compatibility than I expected. I have had computers from old monochrome hand-me-downs, store bought desktops, custom built desktops, and special order laptops and this computer has been the best looking, easiest to upgrade, and most satisfying PC I have ever owned. If you want a great computer without all the bloatware of an HP, the power and aesthetics of a gaming computer, and you don't want to spend dozens of hours making sure all the components are compatible and optimized, buy a Skytech prebuilt, and you'll be enjoying it long before you get all the cables and adaptors sorted out on a home built system. ... show more

  • Solid pre-built option
Size: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 | RTX 3060 Ti
Fun fact: I'm writing a review for this pc ON this pc. I've had it for about 2 and a half years and it's holding up great! Runs most games smoothly on medium graphics or higher. Great middle ground between not being able to play games and breaking the bank.

I've been looking to upgrade my gaming PC for a while but video cards are hard to come by so I settled with this, and so far I'm quite pleased. I got the version with the Ryzen 5 3600 and a 3060 Ti and it came with: MSI Geforce RTX 3060 Ti GPU ASRock B450M/ac mobo 16 GB XPG Gammix D10 RAM 1 TB M.2 Western Digital SSD (SN550) A basic Cooler Master heatsink, couldn't find the model number Thermaltake 600W Gold PSU The motherboard is slightly different from the photo, it has four RAM slots instead of two but no PCIe slot, which would have been nice for my sound card. Also, there doesn't appear to be any way to insert a regular HDD, only SSDs. It runs very quietly and I really like the clean interior, which is easily accessible via a glass panel held closed by magnets. Setup was simple, just had to plug it in. Also, it came two weeks early! A keyboard and mouse were included and they seem well-made but sadly several of the keys on my keyboard do not work. Gaming experience has been solid so far but I haven't tested enough games to really comment on that yet. ... show more

  • Product Good, Shipping not so much.
Size: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 | RTX 2060
I just received the variant that has the Ryzen 5 3500 and RTX 2060. Will try to remember to update this review if anything comes up. If not updated, assume this machine is chugging along! Also make *absolutely certain* you pay attention to what you're buying. For example: under the same listing as this machine you can grab a variant with a 3060ti and nvme ssd. It'll actually say it in the product details. If the variant you're buying doesn't specify this, assume you're getting a SATA SSD. PROS: + Case is great. No more unscrewing just to dust. It's a hinge, so gently unlock and open. + Pretty good brand components. I knew I was getting a SATA SSD with this variant, and got a Western Digital Blue. + No bloatware save for one thing +A RTX 2060 is more than enough to get you through most of today's games. Nvidia is even considering mass producing this particular card again to help folks get ray tracing. So if you can get this build around $1000-$1200, you're not going to beat that with the current GPU shortage. + Comes with a folder that has contact information, a quick start guide, and a troubleshooting guide. As well as maintenance tips for those unfamiliar with keeping up a desktop. So nice for first timers! + There was some packing inside the case itself to keep everything from jostling which is a good thing. + Very quiet. Then again I only played an MMO while testing, but it was practically silent on my end. Maybe if you play Cyberpunk or something it'll be a bit louder. + I actually like the keyboard it came with. I won't personally use the RGB, but the keys are snappy enough. CONS: - The amazon delivery packaging was *awful.* I can see why there's some reviews complaining about the tempered glass door being broken. My PC was put in a box nearly double the length of the PC's product box, without much beyond a sheet of really thin paper tucked in there. It absolutely shifted around (so thank heavens there was packing inside the product box). - The one thing that seems to be bloatware is the program installed to control the RGB lights. It just flat out doesn't work (that I can find). You change the lights through a button on top of the case, so it's useless and a pretty safe uninstall. - No DVI input for older monitors. I was lucky and had a spare HDMI chord on hand, but do keep in mind what your monitor needs before you commit to this. - When I bought this it was brought down to $1300 from nearly $1800. The GPU shortage is nuts, and this prebuilt has been delightful my first night working with it. But it absolutely is *not* an $1800 PC. If it's closer to $1000-$1200 consider getting it. I went in because of the sale and my old rig was having multiple hardware failures (thus, bit of an emergency). ... show more

So i use this pc all the time for games, and i personally love it. It came in perfect condition with no cables loose or hanging, the cable management is pretty good, and all of the components are a steal of a price. It can run any game i feel like playing at max settings with 160 render rez at 100+ fps in 1080p. So far i have had no problems with it. The noise levels are pretty low but i have a headset on 24/7 so i can never hear it anyway. It looks beautiful, the rgb on the outside is really good and the amount of control on the rgb is no slouch either. It has plenty of ports so you never run short there. And i kept seeing all of the reviews about it coming in and having a broken component or it gave out quick but i have had no problems with that as i said before. If you're looking for a pc in this day and age where a 3060 ti is double the price of msrp then this pc should hold no doubts. 2 weeks in and its doing perfectly. Also, most of the bad reviews were on the 1660 super version and the one i purchased is a 3060 ti so there may be a different view there. ... show more
