  • This is the worst company ever. Please stay away. Choose literally any other option.
I received this computer late on a Friday night. Immediately hooked it up and turned it on. After 5 minutes of any game it just completely shuts off. I immediately emailed Skytech's customer support. I I spent about 5-8 hours trying to troubleshoot the issue that night. Bios was configured improperly. AIO cooler was not even turned on and was not working. Cable management was pretty poor for a 4,000 dollar build. Still couldn't figure out the issue personally. I build computers for fun and as a hobby but am by no means an expert. Saturday I had no response and was incredibly frustrated with just spending 4,000 dollars on a computer that clearly was not tested what so ever, so I repackaged the computer and returned it. Today I was issued my refund. 600 dollars short. I'm told the computer is fine and it's a restocking fee. Add on. After about 5 hours of arguing with this horrendous company they still told me it was fine. They sent me a picture of testing a 4,000 dollar computer with the case apart and on a tiny (maybe 21inch) 1080p monitor LOL! Like someone would buy this computer to use on that. I explained to them they need to test the computer how the consumer would use it. They said they didn’t have the capabilities to do that. After getting amazon involved 5 times it seems I finally got my money back. Although avoid this company like the actual plague. They clearly have no idea how to build or test computers at all. They are terrible to deal with and have horrible customer service. They will literally scam you. Chose absolutely any other option. ... show more

  • It’s cheap,sturdy, and yes, it’s got an RTX 3090
This is my 4th or 5th gaming pc. first time buying from skytech. As far as internals, the company puts whatever they have available in the white Inwin303 case (this is probably the reason why it’s $1000k+ cheaper than all the other rtx3090 PCs I’ve seen). In my case, I received a Asrock z490 Velocita, MSI trio X RTX3090, Jupiter AJ120 fans, and gskill RAM. The inwin303 case is very basic/looks like a boring office pc from any side other than the screw free glass panel. The case is very sturdy, thicker metal than similar priced cases. Airflow does not seem to be an issue with all the fans. Speaking of fans, upon getting the system, I noticed it was quite loud (59 db right next to the case, 50db at 3 ft away) compared to my other computer (2080ti, 6700k) which has two fans that almost can’t be heard. It seems like all the fans were at max speed and I couldn’t adjust them in bios or through fantastic tuning. I also noticed that other than by physically accessing the fan controller and pressing the single button to change the lighting, I wasn’t able to control the fan rgb lighting. I reached out to customer support and they said I was missing the ARGB and PWM cables that connect the fan controller to the motherboard, so those are being shipped to me free. I will say skytechs customer service is probably the best I’ve seen. If I email on the weekend, I tend to get reply emails pretty quickly, even though their supposed to only be working mon-fri. When I use the chat during normal business hours, they respond immediately and are very helpful (I’ll send pictures and get immediate answers on where to look, etc.). Definitely enjoy the American tech support compared to other companies. Overall this is a great deal and probably your cheapest and quickest way to get a RTX 3090 right now. I ordered on a Sunday and got the system that Friday. Update 10.17: Finally got the argb and pwm cables. I am able to control the argb lighting through the desktop asrock polychrome application. But I am finally 100% satisfied with this system now that the chassis fan are dead quiet. fantastic tuning allows me to change the curves as normal. I doubt I will ever hear the fans again, due to the amount of airflow in the case as well as the 6 chassis fans running at an inaudible 600rpm. I assume skytech mad a note of this error, and assuming all the cables are included, I would definitely recommend this system to anyone. ... show more

  • The typical worries when buying a prebuilt.
Got it and it was half working did a couple windows updates and video driver update and reset it, didn't have video. Reset it again and the computer didn't turn on at all. Was on the phone with tech support for 2 hours for them to say they can refund it or send a replacement. So I asked for a replacement. I guess I misunderstood the word "replacement" because I shipped them back the faulty computer and they haven't shipped anything back. So I should of just refunded it. I'll update how long it takes to get my "replacement" computer... Side note the tech support guy was very nice, helpful and patient. But since I don't have a computer and probably won't have a computer before Christmas 1 star seems appropriate... *Update* 1/4 Yeah definitely gunna have to give this company a hard pass. Haven't even turned the replacement on but the computer the originally sent me had 2 m.2 slots, new one only has 1 and they had to add a wireless card because the new mobo they sent me didn't have wifi capabilities either. If anything, for making me wait 3-4 weeks because the original computer you sent me was trash, for a replacement computer you could give me something nicer. Not a downgrade on top of making me wait. Hope anyone buying from this company has a better experience. As you can see in the picture that wireless adapter just looks amazing there..... On top of that now I don't have any usable pcie slot either without having to take the bottom fan out.. guess I just bought this computer to salvage. ... show more
