  • Beast of a PC
This PC rocks! I bought it to play games first and do other adult stuff second. I ended up with a Zotac 3070. This puppy can run a game with all settings turned up as high as they go and its butter smooth. It comes with a ton of extra cables and zip ties which I was not expecting, so that was a bonus. It was packed very well and had no damage during shipping. It comes with software pre-installed that lets you manually control the rgb lights. You can even match it to razers rgb software and have all your razer product lights synced. There are a couple of tiny cons that are so small I don't even see it as a con really. I can say that it is louder than I was expecting, but I have it on my desk. I'm sure putting it on a stand close to the ground will help. Also I feel the cable management could have been better, but it still looks pretty clean. Overall I mean this thing is an absolute BEAST and I will not have to upgrade for a long time. The keyboard and mouse it comes I did not try and they do seem sort of cheap, but I'm keeping them for backups which is handy. If your on the fence with this PC like I was, just make the leap. Its worth it. No hardware or software issues yet after having it only about a week. I will for sure update if something comes up, but in the mean time I am absolutely loving this thing. Also if anyone is curious about Cyberpunk 2077 on this PC. Other than the issues the GAME has, this PC runs it with ALL settings maxed out perfectly. ... show more

  • Great customer service. PC is awesome
Initially the PC came with an issue nobody knew what it was i dont really blame skytech mostly because my fiance said she saw the ups guy roll the box to our front door. i contacted customer service because the PC kept shutting off whenever vsync was off they offered to send me a aio cooler because they thought the cooler was bad. all after trouble shooting the day after receiving it i had forgotten i had scheduled a call to speak over the phone with customer service. Daniel helped me go over everything and said to send it in to make sure no other components were damaged if the water cooler wasnt keeping the cpu cool. which is what i did. apparently the water cooler wasnt really secured in and again i feel it was because of box being rolled all the way to the front door. skytech swapped my cpu for a new one changed my watercooler changed my ram which only took a week from being sent to being returned to me. Daniel kept updating me he said he would keep an eye out for the pc. i have had the pc for 2 weeks now i havent had any issues it runs great its quiet we play just about everything with my fiance. the price isnt bad we got it before prices went up again on graphics card and considering the shortage i feel we got a pretty good one. note : i did however had to change the ram speed in bios the 2nd time around it came specs: MB z490 asrock phantom gaming 4 gpu msi rtx 3070 ventus x2 cpu i7 10700k ram hp v6 3000mhz psu 850w 80plus gold storage WD black nvme 1tb ... show more

  • Lacks documentation, loose screws in side manufacturers shipping box and inside PC itself ...
When we opened the manufacturers box (i.e. the box inside the shipping box), we found a loose screw. Not a good sign. We lifted the system box out and found another lose screws - one at the bottom of the system box. We looked everywhere for where they should go. We found no empty screw holes. Fortunately we checked everything out as there was another loose screw sitting on top of the PSU vent holes - again, no obvious empty screw hole anywhere for it. Apparently these were "extra" ... Once satisfied that there were no more loose bits and pieces inside the system box, we connected it to an HDMI display and powered it up. (We had already looked for a "quick start guide" but there wasn't one - the only documentation was a sheet indicating the PC had apparently passed tests in the past and also a troubleshooting sheet - a one page flow chart.) The fans started turning and we waited. Nothing - no blue set up screen. We switched between the motherboard HDMI socket and the NVIDIA HDMI socket. Still nothing. We noticed a red LED on the motherboard near the processor. Unfortunately there was no indication on the motherboard as to what it meant - good or bad. We power cycled a few times - leaving the power off and on a few minutes each time. Still nothing. We consulted the one page flow chart and reached the advice is contained: remove the screws holding the NIVIDIA GPU in place and reseat the module. Also reseat the DRAM. Given the $2K price of this PC, I really didn't want to be fooling around with hardware - it should just work at that price. However, there was nothing left for it so we tried the reseat process. Still nothing when powered up. We packaged the whole unit back up, putting the "extra screws" in a Zip lock bag and shipped it back (we had to pay $8 for UPS to come and pick it up). About 10 days later we received a full refund. I would not recommend anyone buy from this manufacturer. Clearly quality control, packing, etc. are a problem. A DOA unit without any 7x24 support (either chat online or phone - neither was available outside of normal west coast business hours Monday through Friday)? A unit that has ZERO documentation that comes with it and none available on the manufacturers website (the only manual there is how to assemble the already assembled components)? This does not meet my expectations as an experienced PC customer. Frankly it is the worst customer support, quality control, etc. that I have ever experienced in the decades I have bought and worked with PCs - from low cost to high cost. This company set a new low for me and I would not recommend them to anyone. I am so glad this was bought through Amazon so that the return process was flawless, though the supplier apparently held up the refund - another bad mark against that company. Had this been bought from another eCommerce company or directly from the manufacturer, I suspect the return process would have been awful. I consider the $8 paid to UPS to pick this up a reasonable expense given it saved my back since this was a heavy, bulking shipment. ... show more
