This Skytech Gaming Shadow PC exceeded expectations right out of the box. While advertised with a B550 / B650 motherboard and DDR4 3200MT RAM, it actually came with a B760 motherboard and DDR5 6000 MT/s RAM support—a pleasant surprise that adds more future-proofing. Note to self: never preorder RAM before confirming what’s inside! Upgrading the 16gb to 64GB DDR5 6000M/T. Maybe we got lucky so confirm before you buy. The Intel Core i7-13700F and NVIDIA RTX 4060 handle gaming and multitasking smoothly, delivering great performance for 1080p and 1440p gaming. The 1TB NVMe SSD keeps load times fast, and the 600W PSU is sufficient for the build. Cooling is solid, with good airflow and a clean RGB aesthetic. Pretty good for what it is. Very strong PC, runs all my games and software quite smoothly. I like the amount of expansion space included as well. Also super quiet. All in all, the only issue that I have with it is Windows 11-- but thats fixable.

At 8.5" wide and 19" tall, this PC is much bigger than I expected. I am upgrading from a 7-year-old ASUS midsize business computer with a GTX-1060 added, just for reference. I am really impressed by the case and the airflow. No more of those black box PCs with two little fans and some slots in the side to let air (read: dust) in. Air flows freely inside this grand canyon of a box, and the way the parts are installed is very artfully done. There are easy-to-reach air filters top and bottom, and the glass door (!!!) makes it easy to see what's going on inside. There were no issues with shipping (box inside a box, discreet). Everything works except the dingdang RGB lights. The front lights don't come on at all, ever. Emails to support may resolve this, we'll see. You control them by means of a button dangerously close to the RESET button. I mean, within millimeters of it. Yikes. Pushing the button cycles the fan lights and a strip through color options. Nothing fancy. There is included software, though only one (RGBFusion) seems to be meant for this system. I couldn't get it to work at all, and it's a very crude piece of software. Minus one star. In order to turn the lights off, hold the button down for a few seconds. The lights come on when the computer wakes up, no option to disable them permanently. I like to play games, but why is it assumed gamers want lights? I've kind of avoided prebuilt gaming machines for decades because they look like kids' toys. This one looks like a work of art. The shiva 2 is an amazing budget buy! I’m not getting paid to say this bruh this pc is actually a beast for it’s price. It can run Minecraft with optifine at around 500 - 1000 fps and with shaders 100 - 200. It can run black ops and fortnite at over 100 fps. Don’t be scared by the 1 star reviews I know I was. Just make sure you pay for shipping DONT USE free shipping! The computer is more likely to come broken if you get free shipping. If you pay it’s much more safer. The only thing I don’t like is how much packaging they used the use two boxing paper bubble wrap sealed air and more bubble wrap inside outside of the case. That’s it! I like the look of this computer but the Power Supply died ten minutes after we turned it on. We looked up the ratings on this PS and it was poor. I replaced the power suppy with the one on my ten year old computer and now the system is up and working well. The computer was late because of order volumes on Black Friday, also Amazon does not realize the amount of time and testing they do before they let the computer out the door. It is of note there was no DVI cable on the motherboard or the graphics card. I had hoped there would be. It should also be pointed out that the assistance I got when I called there number about where my order was. Had been handled pretty well. They told me that, they take about 10 days on each build even if they have more then one going at a time testing and such for stability. So it often takes 10 to 12 business days to ship the computer. There was a lose black plastic piece and a screw in my case but other then that all is good. I would add that my cooling fan led does not seem to sink with the others. Not sure why not going to poke around to find out on a new computer. The game I tested it on the most so far is diablo 3. It loads area to area with almost no delay, and tile sets like the end of game set don't even make my this computer build blink. The one downside I had was failures on the part of the UPS delivery man, who did not do more to check or get my attention for the delivery. It took two calls with my explaining my disability preventing pickup and that I need them to try and properly execute the job they where paid for. I also got a fail delivery paper on the door that dis not say anything about a signature required which stressed me even more about the incompetence of the delivery driver. I suffer from general anxiety and depression as well as being on the autism spectrum. Which is why I can't drive, I let them know I had gone restless more then once that week waiting for the computer. And that their man did not bother to try the doorbell. Which insures that if someone is in a back room it is heard were light knocking could be missed. I even informed them that because of my issues I often drowned out other sounds with headphones. So not having attempted all manner of contacted and not even considering dropping at the office of the apartment. The driver failed on so many points its not even fun. For a package worth over 1k it sure seemed like the driver did not even try. But the company responded well in general, even if they had been very backed up. ... show more

    • Amazing PC, amazing specs at an amazing price!
Before I get into the more specific aspects of the PC, I want to include that the Mini ITX was by far the best option for me because it fits very well on the top of my desk. And the InWin 301 case is beautiful. Now, my specific PC (maybe the same for everybody I don't know) came with the MSi GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER, an ASRock B450 Mini ITX motherboard, A pair of Ballistix RAM sticks, A Seagate Barracuda 500GB SSD. Along with the AMD Ryzen 7 2700 and the Wraith Spire stock cooler. I haven't seen the PSU yet but I'm going to tag along with the product description and say that its a 80 plus certified 600W PSU. The product came shipped pretty quickly and didn't come damaged, I liked the amount of protective foam stuff inside the case, ensuring that my product wouldn't be damaged upon arrival. Now the product description said that it didn't contain bloatware, but I don't know whether they forgot to remove it or just left it there because my product came with the benchmarking tools that they used for the quality control of the PC in there, FurMark and Prime95 were the only ones left in there, Winstress wasn't. But the problem was easily solved by removing them. I've used this product for a couple of weeks now and I have no issues with it. One little problem is that you can't really overclock it that much, the Wraith Spire is not meant to be used for overclocking and if you don't want to overheat your PC, then by an aftermarket cooler or swap it out for a 2700x or 3700x (FYI this motherboard model has support for the 3rd generation AMD CPU's). The thermals are pretty good and everything that I throw at it seems to work just fine but the more CPU intensive games seems to bottleneck it a little bit from the measly 3.2 GHz clock rate. Other than that for the "cheap" price of $1050 its pretty good, I was surprised by some of the brands they used because this computer would have totaled over $1100 (when I just went on PCPartPicker and put in the standard specs that it came with, I didn't look for deals or any other places just what it thinks is the cheapest) if I were to build it myself. In the future I would most likely swap out the CPU and buy a 1 TB HDD for more storage. But this computer is just great, I would suggest buying it if I were you. ... show more
