I've had this tower up and running for about a week now and have to say, overall, I'm really happy with it so far. A few negative reviews did have me doubting buying a pre-built from an independent source (it was down to this or a cheaper model Predator) but I'm glad I did. Opening it up everything was clean, in tact, screwed properly into place. The parts all look reputably branded and are as described. The clear side panel does have a scratch on it but it's not cracked and sits under my desk so I'm not overly concerned. The case itself is a lot better in person than I expected - looks good, has weight to it. The light is fun. It came with a USB mouse and keyboard but I'd purchased others separately so can't speak to the quality of those yet, but they seem more than passable for free additions. There's also a disc for the motherboard, and a USB wireless connection (but I'm currently running wired so again, cannot speak to the quality of that). No Windows key included, but if I run into any problem I have hopes I can simply contact support. Performance wise it's been beautiful. There is a slight knocking sound with the fan at start up but it's barely noticeable and a red light flashes under the reset button but seems to be random and hasn't caused any issue. It takes a second for Windows to kick on but once it does it starts very smoothly and quick. I have encountered one memory management BSOD seemingly out of nowhere but it hasn't happened again (probably on Windows 10 more than anything, as all diagnostics checks didn't find any issues with the RAM itself and performance has been completely fine) and support response was prompt when I inquired about what to do if it reoccurs. For the most part I needed a better PC to play Overwatch on and since it's still early and the holidays, I haven't had time to test much else, but that game in particular runs on mostly high settings with zero problems. Gameplay is smooth, no weird hiccups or apparent overheating after hours of play, and I can have a few other applications open in the background with no problems slowing anything down or lagging. And again, the guts of this thing are placed well enough that I'm sure if you needed to expand a couple years down the line or make any replacements to keep things up to date after warranties it would work out fine. All in all it's so far, so good. For the price I actually expected it to be made up of much cheaper parts than it is, considering what most companies charge for the bare basics when you don't feel like building yourself - and they usually don't include anything else with it, either. Nor do they ship as fast as this baby did. Should anything go awry I'll update but overall I'm definitely pleased by how great it's been running. Would recommend giving it a shot if you're wary of spending hundreds more on something with the same parts but a brand name! ... show more

Given that the ram prices have ridiculously sky rocketed. At this point and time it’s best to invest in a prebuilt pc and I think I chose one of the best. It’s powerhouse of a pc and currently enjoying it. I would say one of the best performance to esthetic pc builds for the price in my opinion. I would definitely advise to have an extra ssd on standby to add extra storage . The PC manages both streaming and gaming at high quality so smooth. One caveat I do have is that the bottom fan does make more noise than it should but other than that it’s perfect. ... show more

Review is for Ryzen 3 1200 & GTX 1050 Ti Edition. I researched many systems and as budget was a concern, I decided to review the Ryzen. My existing PC is over 7 years old and still worked well but the graphics card was a major downfall as was memory speed. Rather than spend $500 or so to upgrade, I opted to buy an entry system with the capability to upgrade in the near future. The Skytech system fit the bill in terms of offerings and price. I like the motherboard and the fact that I can substantially upgrade graphics and processor quite a bit. There are better boards but at this price point, it's a good buy. I also liked that I could add the latest high speed SSD card. My standard approach is to wait a year or two and then upgrade. Given that this system blows away my old box, I can do that and then do major upgrades at a substantially reduced price. The ordering process was easy, system arrived as promised and was well packed. I had no issues with the setup.The PC fired up, went through the MS indoctrination (no issues with activation),and I was online. I needed to get a few things downloaded...like virus programs and apps I liked but it went pretty quickly. I've been using the PC now for a few weeks and have no problems or issues. I may have to check the mic jack. It kept announcing that the mic had been plugged in...then disconnected...then plugged in over and over but that seemed to be limited to one headset and my others work fine so it may not be the jack but I want to check it anyway. I've run a few game downloads from Steam and they run much better than my old system. I run a 40" 4k tv as my monitor and the images from the 1050 graphics card are stunning. This system fit my budget and needs and provides a great upgrade path. It's worked well, I've had no issues and Skytech has been responsive with followups on my satisfaction. This has been a big win for me so I recommend it. Knocked it down a star because they never followed up on the promise for a gift card. The PC runs fine and I've had no problems...just no followup from the vendor on something they promised. Follow up about a year later and WiFi is suspect. LAN quit working and it's integrated to the motherboard so...no fix there. Used WiFi adapter and it's prone to 'sleeping issues'. When it quits I'll upgrade. Motherboard only has two memory slots so you have to buy more expensive 16 gig sticks. I'd have upgraded the motherboard if I'd known. Sleep mode never worked. Never could figure out what the issue was. It still ticks most of my needs and has been pretty decent so....I'll keep the original rating. ... show more
