    • Buyer Beware: Do your own quality check and expect to not receive all that was advertised
FIRST: Check all your components, connections and setting as soon as you get your PC. You will probably need to fix something and you may not actually get the components you paid for. You might actually need to know how to do these things even though you are paying for a professional to pre-build and check these things for you. Pros: I got my hands on a RTX 3080. The price at the time I bought this was very good based on what was advertised (not good after further review). All of the windows updates were current, which saved me a lot of time. The RGB controller app came pre-installed. The 3900 is phenomenal and exceeds my needs. The PCIe storage is great. Customer service is responsive. Cons: 1. This PC is marketed to come with 3600mhz CL16 RAM, but they give you CL18 RAM. I see that this has happened to other reviewers, so this seems to potentially be a form of widespread consumer fraud. Consumers know that 3600mhz CL16 is the best setup for Ryzen 3000 series CPUs, which made this a very attractive purchase at first. Upon complaining, I was given a $10 gift card, even though I would need to spend $120 for the right RAM now. My biggest complaint is that if I never actually checked, I would have never known that they gave me worse RAM and configured it wrongly on top of that. By not communicating this to customers, this feels like a scam. 2. The RAM speed was setup incorrectly in BIOS. It was set to 3400mhz CL18, when it should have been set to 3600mhz CL18. 3. As other reviewers have pointed out, there really needs to be 2 more exhaust fans to have proper airflow. I spent another $40 to put two more fans at the top. 4. I received a PNY XLR8 RTX 3080. This card is good, but you will need to set a custom fan curve to stay below the high 70s C. After further inspection, the power wires were installed improperly. They used a splitter to connect to one slot on my power supply. They should have used two slots on the power supply. 5. The PCIe wifi card was a great addition, but it is an older model with no Bluetooth, so keep that in mind. I ordered a new one for around $40. Bottom Line: If you actually want the advertised ram that you PAID for, and you want proper airflow, you will likely need to spend another $160 on top of the purchase price. If you want Bluetooth for gaming controllers and headsets, make that an extra $200. At that price, you might as well buy something else. I would return my PC, but I have no other way of getting a 3080. If you are currently shopping, you might want to wait until next month when GPUs might be available. ... show more

    • Surprisingly well put together.
Originally, I bought this just for the 3080. I intended to remove needed components from it for a custom build, while using unneeded parts to build a midrange PC for my daughter. However, after receiving this thing, It's just really nicely put together and parting it out seems silly. It arrived nicely packaged, with expanding foam bags inside to support the GPU during transit. I was pretty pumped with the configuration. Mine included: -a Gigabyte 3080 OC Gaming gpu -Gigabyte GP-P850GM 850w 80 Plus Gold Power Supply -Asrock X570 Phantom Gaming 4 motherboard. - 16GB G.Skill Trident Z 16GB (2 x 8GB) RGB DDR4 3600MHz CL18 Added bonuses: -The PSU was fully modular, and Skytech was thoughtful enough to include the unused cables. - The free gaming keyboard and mouse are actually kinda nice. - RGB control is easy and works flawlessly through Asrock's RGB software, which was thoughtfully pre-installed. - Cable management was well-done, and this thing really does look nice. - Tempered glass case window somewhat nicer than pictured. has no rivets, and is truly flush. Things that could be improved: - Did not include second 2mm M.2 screw for the unused M.2 slot. This would've been nice. - Case was not branded with the Skytech logo, but instead with Gamdias, the manufacturer of the case (Case is a Gamdias Athena M2). This wouldn't be such a big deal, but "Gamdias" is written in a pretty obnoxious font. - Case really does need one more exhaust fan. I really like the fans this came with, and would like to buy one that matches, but they appear to be skytech branded and I don't know where/how to get another one. All in all, this computer exceeded my expectations by a wide margin. It is well thought out and put together, Has some really nice extra features, and only falls short in superficial ways that likely won't affect most people. ... show more
