Carried this daily on a 6 week tour of Europe. Very sturdy straps and zippers. Definitely fit a 24oz water bottle in the side pocket (I pulled the elastic cord over the top to keep it from falling out) and an umbrella on the other side pocket. Passport and cards fit comfortably in the back pocket, the inside held a light jacket, lip gloss, etc, and a charging cable in the strap pocket. A lot larger than I was expecting. You can carry a lot of stuff. Very well made. I love the side mesh pockets. Perfect for water bottles. Really appreciate that the strap can be used on both sides. Update: I'm reducing stars from 5 to 4. After using bag, I find that stap is very unwieldy. The pocket on the strap isn't really usable. If you have something in it and want to sit without removing bag it is very uncomfortable or you could crush whatever is in it. ... show more

This was the best buy. I used it for my trip to Europe. Fits securely in front, holds an umbrella in place and water bottle. Purchasing small items fit nicely in the many storage compartments. It is waterproof and the zippers are made well.

I probably would have given it 5 stars but halfway through my trip to Ireland the zipper broke( the stitching came apart at base) It has 2 zippers on the main compartment so 1 zipper worked but was very inconvenient. The material is very durable and felt it was just as it was presented. Loved that I could carry my coffee cup in pocket. It did not fit my large water bottle, I need to downsize the bottle. The front and back pocket were convenient for international travel. I ended up tucking the buckled strap in the pocket it was unnecessary and in the way.
